I think Benteke needs to realise that he can't go on playing like that, no passion and he looks bereft of confidence. Maybe the kick up the backside he needs? Just can't agree about lack of passion. nobler Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 I think we all know he hasn't been pulling his weight the last few games but he is still by far the best player in our squad and capable of winning matches for us and none of us are really sure if he's unfit, low on confidence or just being lazy; so as it stands i think it would be a gamble to drop him tonight. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would come back stronger from being dropped. Yes, he can turn a game on his own, but then we've been saying that for the last few games havent we, and he hasnt done it. Kozak deserves his chance, you dont always get what you deserve as the team come first. We know lambert is not afraid to drop big name Players, see Bent last season.
