Wonder if the FA medics have confirmed?

Apparently he's going to have an injection to enable him to play.

Gerrard? That's incredibly stupid and shortsighted.

Not brave and heroic like it will be made out to be?

Heard that Germany are only taking 1,000 seats for Tuesday. Why do the FA insist on having all internationals in the week nowadays? If you do not live in the London area it is diffcult to watch England. I would suggest having some matches out of Wembley, but that has far too much common sense for the FA. So it will be in North London's finest light industrial estate for years and years to come.

Lol so first he can't be arsed to play and now he is being stupid for wanting to play.

He can't win.

If the lesson is that he can't please all of the people all of the time then that should be pretty obvious. But they are 2 different sets of people that are criticising him on one hand for pulling out of the friendly and on the other hand maybe having an injection to play. It's not hypocrisy, it's just different opinions.

It was because the clubs insisted on getting their players back a day earlier to recover for the next weekends matches.

International games used to be played on Sat and Wed, now it's Friday Tuesday.

England team to play Chile: Forster, Johnson, Cahill, Jones, Baines, Lallana, Lampard, Wilshere, Milner, Rodriguez, Rooney”

Like that team, wonder if Lallana will play in behind the front two in a 4 3 2 1 formation?
