So we took on a lower league striker, was a gamble as it hasn't worked.

We are now using him as a makeweight in a deal for another lower league striker.

We really are adopting the throw enough shit and some of it sticks approach..

According to SSN this morning 5 Premier League clubs are in for Ince, so we could well be one or them! Hopefully so!

If there were 1 other in for him Id doubt we would get him with our wage structure.

'However, Sky sources understand Swansea will have to fight off another four Premier League clubs before securing his signature after Crystal Palace, Hull, Stoke and Sunderland declared their interest in the attacking midfielder.'

As Lambert has previously stated the only wage cap at the club is one of sensibility. If you also consider the wages that Benteke and Weimann are now earning plus maybe Delph then meeting a Championship player's wages, even considering the increase he would want shouldn't be outside parity with the others mentioned.

However in saying that it would also depend on any fee involved and whether Lambert would want stipulated first option to buy at the end of the season.

Would love to see Ince at the club though as it would show the same statement of intent when we signed Delph.

Think we missed out on a bigfish. Daehlie looked absolute class for Cardiff in the cup. Only played 10 mins, but actually got man of the match.. Was higher rated than Januzaj in the Man Utd academy, and probably will become a better player. He's only 18!

Higher rated by whom? One was let go for free and the other is now a key first team player.

I see both Mails have us linked with Leigh Griffiths of Wolves.

AAaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Surely not. Two reasons (at least)

1. When have Villa ever had a decent Scottish striker?   B)

2. He's hardly a looker and therefore wouldn't compliment our dashing bunch of handsome devils.

Twitter saying that we're in a race with Norwich to get this guy...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eunan_O'Kane

Looked decent yesterday against Plop.

Not what we need at this present time though. Another one for the future.

Would hardly be for the future, he is 24
So are all our other "young" players. Edited by stwefano

He went free. Solskjaer bought him back to Cardiff.

Its getting a bit lol'able when ppl say we can't have more loans.

Premier League teams can not loan more than 2 players from other premier league teams at 1 given time.

Then its 4 long term loan players from the same FA ie Champ, L1 etc etc.
