LondonLax
I normally go for Sharps 'Doombar' or Timothy Taylor's 'Landlord' when I'm drinking ale at the pub. There are also quite a few micro brewery start ups around my way in East London gaining some traction in local pubs and off licences which is pretty cool. I had half a pint of that in Bristol and it cost me £5. American isn't it? Didn't realise it was a Purity beer.
leviramsey Posted October 13, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted October 13, 2013 Looks like Purity import others as well as make their own.I'm proud to support my local (based about a mile away as the crow flies) craft brewery, the Berkshire Brewing Company... I have not found a beer in their range which I dislike.

StigVillan
Is this thread a sign that proper, TASTY beer is becoming less unfashionable? I'm an old soul apparently. The music I like, the beer I drink, the company I keep, my interests in history and politics... And I'm 28.

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Belfast Ale is decent if you can get your hands on it Although, I prefer Belfast Black. Edited October 13, 2013 by CarewsEyebrowDesigner
thetrees
I am heartened by the amount of young males who, on their nights out, drink the obligatory Corona and Budweiser, but at quieter times are taking a healthy interest in real ale. Sampling different real ales is a wonderful voyage of discovery.
