I really think we need to show the bench to Hutton, and give Herd more time. The kid played one game at RB and was our best player by a country mile and won MOTM. Then he has barely seen the field since, that must be truly damaging for his confidence. So far, Hutton has only shown quite poor defending and has offered very little going forward (a poor man's Kyle Walker). After such a gutless performance yesterday, I would rather see kids play with something to prove, and I feel Herd will offer us a lot more given the chance.

The lad has a great attitude which never hurts and I certainly agree that he could be best utilised in the middle of the park. And his aerial ability does seem to be a strong suit...thinking it will not be much longer before he gets himself some headed goals, came so close last season on a few occasions.

Oddly enough, thought he was their best centre back last season. Think Carragher is shit and Agger is far too injury prone. Skrtel is okay, but their defense will probably need a replacement, Surely they are going for Dann now I would assume. Or maybe someone can move for Cahill soon so we can get a bit off that sell on clause.

Two seasons ago Bent scored 24 league goals, 24! For a Sunderland side with no players giving service like Young or Downing...just saying. Bent will be just fine and bag plenty for us.

So far has done away with the silly fouls and is getting great blocks in, definitely what we needed with him. Also pleased with how he managed playing on the right.

This may already have bin Dunne but NEVER ever use veet on the old fella or the balls. It will burn you and leave you blistered weeping and miserable. Use veet down below and have had issues. As long as you dont keep it on for a long time it does the job fairly well!

In America, there is a movie/tv streaming company called Netflix that does exactly that. You rate shows/movies you have seen in the past or you have watched through the service, then they make suggestions for you and even group them by genres and everything. It is a very very helpful application!

When did Young refuse to play LB, must have missed this seeing as he has played that position at least half his time at Villa... He didn't refuse to play LB. IIRC He dared to question MON for playing him there. For that act of abject mutiny he was dropped immediately and summarily banished to play with the stiffs. Men and their egos..... such eeediots at times! I had thought that him not playing was more due to the death of his stepbrother and trying to cope with that mentally before being able to play. -
Have some American mates visiting and I plan to take them to Dublin 2/9-5/9...Wanted to get tickets for the Rep Ireland Euro qualifier that Friday against Slovakia. Any clue on how to get my hands on tickets for this...having a 'mare at the moment.
