  1. Should have stumped up the money for benrahma
  2. You shouldn't give cash to homeless people, you're not helping them. If you want to help then volunteer at a homeless organisation or buy them something to eat. If you give them cash guess what they spend it on. A cashless society is inevitable and the faster it happens the better. It should be actively encouraged by governments.
  3. Hard to argue with that. Even the smallest amount of due diligence or common sense would have stopped us wasting £12m.

    Chelsea

They have the makings of a very good side for next season. Ziyech and Werner could really make a difference and see them being up there with City and Liverpool. I don't think they'll challenge but they won't be as far back.

    Liverpool

It doesn't bother me that they won it but I can see why their fans and the media lovefest annoys a lot of people. Liverpool and Newcastle seem to get a status above any other club for some bizarre reason. They seem to think that everyone loves it when they do well.
  6. They have anything else to play for, they are out of both cups, so they might aswell go for the points record.
  7. Very bad result for watford against a Burnley team that seemed to have packed it in.
  8. I can't see anything other than an easy Wolves win and us not scoring.
  9. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Smith has been given an impossible job with the players he has. Our limitations have been clear in the games against Sheff Utd and Newcastle and that's why we'll be relegated. There isn't anyone on the bench or any magic formation that's going to make a difference.
  10. I honestly think anyone who thinks we are going to stay up is off their rocker. We will lose our next three games and the way we are playing we'll be lucky to score a goal in any of them. It's done. Accept it.
  11. Well that's us officially relegated. I'd like to say we gave it a go but we didn't. Apart from grealish the rest of that team is championship level. Mings and McGinn might be okay in a better team. The rest? Not close to being good enough. We are comfortably the second worst team in the league.
  12. I think it's the Burnley chairman who has told them they won't play again for the club unless they sign a contract.
  13. Basically given our fixtures this is a must win. Hard to see how that could happen given the players we have and our performances this season. We're the second worst team in the league.
  14. Feel sorry for him given the "talent" at his disposal but playing Jack out wide all season is just pure idiocy. Play Elmo as a winger if you have to but get Jack in the centre where he can get on the ball. He's our only proper footballer.
  15. I think they looked average because they are average. Wouldn't surprise me if they went down next year. They don't have any really good players, they are just a well organised team riding the momentum of promotion and a good start to the season. I have no doubt they would have fallen down the league had C-19 not come along. We've seen it plenty of times before with sides in their first season in the premier league. In their second season they get found out. It was a winnable game and we didn't win it, which is very worrying given our fixture list.
  16. I think El Ghazi is a lot better despite having the strength of a butterfly.
  17. Agreed. It's like when Sven shoved Scholes out on the left wing for England. He doesn't get enough possession or have enough influence on the game. He's our best player, the team should be built around him.
  18. Has the killer instinct of a wet fish. If he played all 38 games I'd say he'd struggle to get 10 goals.
  19. Another in the pile of players that we over paid for and will probably have to loan out for the rest of his contract or else pay him to leave
  20. Its probably just for convenience or as a smokescreen. If they can get newcastle winning a trophy then you can imagine the positive press they will get in the media.
  21. It's not an investment fund that's trying to make a profit. It's one that's trying to create a better image of a horrible country. It's similar to what is happening at man city and PSG, you use sport to improve the image of your country/domestic brands. It's called sports washing. Nobody cares if you are stoning women to death for being seen by another man as long as you bring in a number 9. Tha luv a number 9 in Newcastle like.
  22. It's up to the leagues or UEFA or fifa to stop it but they are all corrupt and greedy so nothing will be done. Agents will get their greasy hands on money and backhanders and brown envelopes will be the order of the day
