  1. never mind Chewie never had the minerals
  2. Agreed Hull are in free fall and QPR and Sunderland are full of players who don't give a shit about the club. Leicester and Burnley have some fight about them like they want to earn their place in the division rather than feeling owed. I like Dyche and would think he'd be a shoe in for Manager of the year if they stay up, hopefully not at our expense on the last day.
  3. Liking how this thread has now moved towards talking about other getting relegated, we are not safe yet and the few games after the West brom wins showed how fragile our belief is as a fan base. We are now 6 points clear with 2 teams inbetween us and the relegation zone. With most of the teams having a tougher run in one more win should do it I think we will beat both Westham and Everton.
  4. sounds like your offering to do it.......
  5. Either John Oshea is done as a professional player or he has money on Sunderland to go down. Letting two balls bounce today which led to goals and then half arsing tackles and running in slow motion which led to another one.
  6. Didn't he play a good pass to Bacuna just before the goal? He can pass it reasonably o.k imo....the problem is there's always a few occasions a game when his spatial awareness disappears and he just dosen't realise there's an opposition player 5 yards away and just gives them the ball. Nope was Cleverley that gave Bacuna the ball. The memory that sticks out is him being high up the pitch on the right side with lots of options and he did a flick into one of our players chests from about 6 yards. But like I said I appreciate what he does do well and what effect it has on the team, hes not Makelele but he does give freedom to others.
  7. Looks like another season that his goals will save us. Sadly I think this is his last. Love watching this guy play not just for his goals and quality but the close ups that show he really wants it. Bang on form at the moment and a pleasure to watch.
  8. Benteke is worth £150 million which royally screws the asking price
  9. Paper talk has him going to us, Everton, Newcastle and Spurs. Cant see him going to Newcastle and I cant see Spurs giving him promises to play. Martinez is no doubt tapping him up behind the scenes but im hoping his best period of form since he played for Wigan is enough to convince him this is where he belongs. Along with an English core which he seems to get on with. Like others ive been critical and am quite happy to eat humble pie, hes gone from a sideways passing, attack ruining passenger to an absolute engine with cute attacking passes and great running off the ball. Worthy of England caps again on this form.
  10. I appreciate what he does off the ball, he fills in gaps and blocks openings which is alot more valuable that it sounds. But on the ball he is utterly terrible, would be ok if was just when he was going forward that he was poor but can hardly string a pass together.
  11. They said earlier that Fazio hadnt scored for Spurs yet......
  12. Many Clouds you beautiful beast
  13. Owner is a West Ham fan as I nearly bet for the same reason
  14. Im really scared about today, last few games have been a few so called "must wins" and its games like today that are the reason for calling them so as I dont expect anything out of it.
  15. Richardson and Bacuna have cost us 3 points today
  16. Have to agree with this from a recruiting perspective but from a personal one I walked with nothing to go to as Id just had enough and needed some time to my self. Yes potentially the worst thing I could have done but I fell on my feet. You make your own chances and if you are good at your job and have been there a few years you should know people who have left who are in good places. You never know what impact you can have on people so test the water with old colleagues if you managed to create that kind of network. That sounds like the worst piece of advice I've ever read. NEVER quit a job without another job lined up no matter how bad it is. I was always told that it is so much easier to get a job when in a job then when unemployed. I found this to be true. Quit my job to go travelling, came back and despite a degree and decent experience could not for the life of me get even an interview. After 2 and a bit months I finally managed to get a job and from then on the offers were rolling in. I don't see why being in a job has anything to do with getting a new job. If Chindie dislikes his current job so much, and it helps give him time to properly look for other jobs, I'd quit. The hard line is man up and do something about it, its easy to stay in job you hate but know you can do as it keeps you secure. Takes some guts to leave what you know. The temp root is ok but its dangerous as you can get stuck in a loop and actually you will probably get paid a little bit more to do the bits of the job you hate now but wont be sure if you will be doing it if anything in a couple of weeks time, as is the life of a temp. Thats when you will realise its not about the money but job satisfaction and in general that "perfect job" will not come around if you are not in work. Apply for something every day, interviews will start coming along and you may find that you interview for jobs that make you appreciate parts of your current role and company. Can only give yourself options and when the time comes to make a decision you will show yourself what you really think about your current situation by going or staying.
  17. What if he dosnt play and we win will the manager then have your backing? Or is it not a two way street
  18. I'm glad they got the win on Saturday, they had to win sometime and I don't see it being the start of a run as they are too poor. We have a great ability to let teams on poor runs get their first win against us atleast that can't happen tonight. 3-1 Villa How I wish we could play 11 James Milners
  19. How? Not really, Randy was our saviour from Doug, did some great things for the club in the first few years, shame his trust and money went to the wrong person but we all enjoyed the ride. A team that has consisted of Milner, Carew, Young, Barry, Laursen, Mellberg, Downing, Ireland, Nzogbia & Bent in his time here even if he wasn't responsible for the purchase of a few he certainly helped keep them here for a short while and is not responsible for some being duds as they obviously have the talent. No one could have predicted the withdrawal of finances even with the financial crash. Randys first 5 years have been evened out by the last 5 and for me he goes as a man who broke even in my mind for the fact that he tried and realised he couldn't do it and is now trying to get out rather than hold on for the sake of it (and it's cost him a lot of money) Unfortunately I think the worst parts always stick out in people minds and ultimately his naivety as a chairman and his knowledge of football has let him down.
