  1. Watching some players I hate right now. Costa Cavani and newly added Veratti what a little shit he is. Agreed some winners are often disliked as they do what ever necessary. I dont mind lower level players doing what they need to as they dont have the skill so a bit of "fighting spirit" maybe. Walters for example knows he is a shit footballer but knows hes a 6"2 thug and uses it, I can understand and make exception (I think). This Chelsea team are a disgusting team to watch I currently hate them all, like I did Barcelona at their very worst, every player is a disgusting rocket polisher. Should hate Macherano but I dont for some reason Busquets however.
  2. Every one was a rebound dont you know
  3. I don't watch it and havnt for a long time but still have a passing interest. How would Bray have been in the attitude era, golden memories from my child hood and that is the only way for me to judge today's wrestlers. One of my favourite memories: http://youtu.be/o_TPEPxSUbc
  4. Anyway is this guy any good at football? Or let's talk about his ridiculous shin pads.
  5. What? If you dive you are conning the ref. If you wernt forced to go down then you shouldnt be. Old fashioned I know. Sometimes players dive or jump out of the way to avoid getting clattered. Usually though these types of 'dives' occur further away from the penalty area. Again a jump and dive are different. If you leap over a 2 footed challenge and get clipped pushing you off balance and go down then fair enough, if you leap it and then feign a fall its a dive. I suppose its a commentary on the state of reffing that the example there is only a foul if they go to ground when avoiding a potentially serious injury. I dont think Jack was about to get clattered, tackled yes, bottled it yes, evaded the challenge yes, dived yes. Unlucky to get punished in the way he did for an action that players get away with in every game.

  7. He dived and got punished for it, he got clipped but was going down already and he flicked his leg. A lot of those get given as fouls but Jack was unlucky to get caught and be punished. Also a case of the ref wanting to even up his mistake.
  8. Hope the injury isnt too bad obviously. However I think its good for him to have some time off. He must have felt the pressure of being Villas hope but unable to score. The penalty visibly took some weight off his shoulders. When he comes back in hes going to come into a team that seems to be growing in confidence and putting the ball into strikers in an area where they have a chance and players supporting. The beast will return.
  9. I think if we get Arsenal or Liverpool in the Semi we are out. Man United are there for the taking and surely fate has us beating them eventually. Dont think Tim would let the players mind slip if we were to get Bradford or Reading. There will be a shock participant in the Final and us, Bradford or Reading will be one of them. The latter stages of the cup are fantastic and being involved makes you appreciate the FA cup as it is remembered.
  10. Agreed that he improved in the second half and perhaps it is unfair to criticise when we won again. But as stated he for me is not good enough. The fact that we dont know where his best position is is because he has never performed consistently anywhere (I know he has been moved about) He is an group with Weimann and Cissokho in the current squad who are not technically good enough and also dont use their endeavour to great effect.
  11. Maybe get Salifou and Djemba Djemba back. Some have to be left to a lost cause.
  12. Thats Chelsea but atleast they loan them out. Man City do it to fill their home grown quota for the Champions League which is worse. They could do it with journey men but they do it with potentially talented young Englishmen and then ruin their careers as they have no intention of playing them. Im pleased with how Scott has come in, I was one of the ones that was pleased to see him come. Lets hope he can continue as he adds a dimension that we havnt had for a while. However he is not an Ashley Young type hes much more of a striker/forward and he is very direct, not sure if he can cross yet.
  13. Which areas? Not saying is now the best in the world. On first impression he seems like he can motivate the players, we look fitter and our tactics have improved and changed through out games. While also getting the fans rocking in his demeanour and what he says to the press. His team choices and subs have been questioned but as with Nzogbia a cameo has lead to two very good performances. He is known as a very good coach and a backer of youth teams. Transfers seems the only area we can't currently positively judge him on in his short time with the club.
  14. Surely can't be playing 4 games at Wembley over two days?
  15. I said when we appointed Sherwood and everyone was moaning about not getting Pulis that he was not the kind of manager that we could stomach for a whole season. He is a means to an end in a relegation battle and for a team like Stoke he was great bringing them into the prem and stabilising them. But even they were sick of him once they were settled.
  16. Was a harsh red. Played well when he came on, looks very menacing to the opposition quick feet, good movement and I think he's a lot stronger than he looks. Needs to sort out his shin pad situation

I don't like the semi finals being played at Wembley it takes away the prestige of the final in my opinion
  18. It feels like we are safe with the euphoria of the last week but we need to stay grounded as we are still in real trouble. I cant imagine Tim will let the players forget it. Glad we are starting to build some momentum, Would love us to absolutely spank Sunderland and watch the belief ooze out of the players.
  19. I genuinely hope their players managed to get off the pitch with out too much aggro from the imbeciles that invaded the pitch
  20. Goals ration and Win ratio looking good Edit - Id also add a fans with positive first impression ratio
  21. Yes he can score a 20 yarder but he is a very poor footballer. His attribute of being able to take on a man and maybe score is not enough when he cant defend cant pass and has a terrible touch. I think he put his first 3 passes out of play today. I know he was played out of position but that dosnt make up for the poor passes, poor touch and decision making. Maybe a little harsh as we have won today but that is a generalisation of his ability and time at Villa IMO. I dont see a future for him at this club if we improve our over all quality of the squad.
  22. Although Gabby, Nzogbia, Cleverly, Lowton & Sinclair seem to have been brought back from the brink. I dont think Ive ever seen Weimann as a player that has produced consistency and showed enough quality like the others. Hes been there because there has been no one else. Hes probably one of the hardest trainers but he dosnt have enough quality I dont think we will be seeing much of him from now on.
  23. Good performance. Still made mistakes that could have cost us. Consistency with age he will see this guy turn into a top European defender.
  24. Tim will play his part in the press conferences not slating the fans who came on the pitch but you could see he was furious and rightly so.
