  1. He has the quality and technical ability, he dosnt have to try as hard to be good like some of the others do. He was menacing today, teams still know the player he can be and with another good performance again today he is starting to win the fans back. Obviously putting it in on the training ground aswell or he wouldnt be playing. Welcome back Charles its been a while but very pleased to see you.
  2. Very much a game of two halfs only one player managed to play well in both IMO so well done Nzogbia. MOTM in order: Nzogbia Gabby Okore Delph Sinclair Westwood, Lowton and Bacuna were poor in the first half and Bacuna was then poor for the rest. Fine he was out of position but his touches and passing were very bad. Ref very very poor through out but some how praised by the commentary team. Fans at the end were embarrassing, Wouldnt even let the players of the pitch. Delph got ambushed. Took the shine of the result and second half performance.
  3. Ref has been terrible and I'm glad he continued
  4. Bacuna is an incredibly poor footballer
  5. Gabby is spending too much time fighting with the centre back
  6. Like a freezing cold knife through butter
  7. No, in the same way Mourinho takes all the flack Sherwood is taking the focus away from the players but still applying pressure in his words. Whether it is as calculated as Mourinho I don't know. If the players are seeing his press conferences they are all about standing tall, working hard, respecting the club and manning up. Modern football is a package deal and how you act off it shows on the pitch. You never heard Ferguson rolling over and saying a loss was ok.
  8. He was very good against Albion, nearly every game ythis season you havnt be able to tell he is on the pitch, not even able to point him put. but on Tuesday he was everywhere with great energy and bite, showed some quality too. It's hopefully a good start to a renaissance for Cleverly because he could be an asset to us.
  9. Just thought Izzard had scored for Chelsea, dont think Eddie would fit the Mourinho style
  10. Was about to say would love to see stats from his performance tonight. He's becoming a top draw defender and I imagine teams using opta and all manners of data collection are beginning to see Clark at the level he is as an individual this season and not the team he is playing in.
  11. Well well well. I am delighted to say well played today and a good few games since Sherwood arrived. His pressing was key, he put himself about and moved the ball quickly. He resembled the played I remember seeing at Wigan. More performances like that and he will be key to our survival and someone I'd want signed up for next season. Go on a prove us all wrong Tom.
  12. Very good performance over 90 mins with a blip in the middle. Tactically Tim got it write, that floating midfielder that we had worked a treat even if I was surprised it was Nzogbia who played very well. Gill will be perfect for that role when fit? People complaining about the subs are the same people that have been calling for Bacuna and Grealish to get some game time! Should be the start of a run, loved the energy and desire in the first half as well as the pressing and quality we showed. Same again please Tim with set piece training added in. Very impressed with Cleverly and Gabby I think we've just been playing look alikes. Hutton had a good game but is law to himself and needs to control his running as was lucky not to bet caught out of position. lowton good aswel. Benteke had a poor game hopefully he is unleashed at the weekend, the goal will do him wonders. Got the "luck" we DESERVED today and that the only way to get it! what is this feeling? I'm Rambling because I'm delighted.
  13. Delph the captain hiding away from that scuffle and the conversation with the ref. Clark right there....
  14. There is no way I will ever believe that Nzogbia has been working the hardest in training. No chance.
  15. Super scared and excited for tonight. This will either be heart breaking or hope inducing. Its win or bust for me, a draw wouldnt be a disaster for the league but for us fans it will feel like a loss. Hoping the performance is there to go with a win but I dont care how the ball goes in the net tonight. Would like a super dodgy goal tonight that visibly lifts the players when they see the world isnt against them.
  16. Yea it was something like he has had less than half the amount of touches this season than he did the previous one. Needs the ball to score goals. We keep using him just to flick headers to the opponent's defense and it doesn't work. Thats only been in two games to be fair and hes played better in those two than he has all season barring the Spurs game. Maybe thats just because the ball is going somewhere near him now rather than just keeping it in the mid field until we lose it. Get it to his feet quickly and watch him go.
  17. I'd watched the last 10 games of Lambert and honestly saw no positives other than Gill, an individual. The positives of the last 2 games has been the whole team shape, intent and a bit more passion. Whether that is because of Sherwood or just because of no Lambert I don't know.
  18. Thats what I wanted to read
  19. As others have said £30k-£35k in mid twenties is an absolute dream for most. Ive been above £25k for the last two years and dont plan on ever going back down. With 2 months of unemployment it made me realise just how much of that I pissed up the wall and wasted though, Id say a £5k increase every 5 years is a good return on career growth. Im motivated, experienced and clever (If I do say so myself) but If I was on £35k basic I think id be delighted with my lot but I wouldnt be that bothered if I didnt get there for another 10 years, think ill be there by the time Im 30 though.
