  1. Just had something Ive never had before. My assistant manager came to me saying that that my 22 year old World Class Brazilian striker is suffering from a severe lack of determination because of off field events. Nothing has happened but his determination has dropped from 15 to 3 and now he cant score for shit. Ive also had a error where now all players have got Anderlecht or Algeria as part of their playing history and have transfer histories over a billion.
  2. That's true, but hasn't he only got one year on his contract? If they don't play him they might just sell, no point losing him for free. Such a shame he's not going to get a chance, Jose isn't much a gambler, not when there's a league to be won. So are Amavi and Praet but a lot of people are excited about that. The only way we wiłl progress as a club is to take risks on highly rated young players as we can't take them when they are developed. Need to become a breeding ground where if we have £10 mill to spend on someone highly rated they will join us instead of a big boy as they know that in two years time they will get that opportunity anyway while also having had a pay rose and gained some experience by joining us. Easier said than done and money has to be there but if opportunities arise where we can show some balls then we should do so. Gueye and Austin would be the next bracket up in terms of experience and I hope Sjerwood again has the balls to trump everyone like he seems to have done with Gueye.
  3. I think if Klopp hadn't taken a break Rodgers would be gone. First sign of trouble and I think that will be the case. I would love to see a Benteke that is fired up under Klopp. I will never see that in a villa shirt unfortunately. If he goes to Liverpool then we have had 3 years out of him some great goals and £32 million. I will not say good luck to Liverpool but I watch enough football to enjoy watching good players and would be able bare him staying in the prem so that I can continue watching him.
  4. Just hope we are lining up Bamford and Austin and are ready to pull the trig if Benteke looks like he's leaving
  5. £8m though? Seems steep for such an untested player. (I know, I know... Fabian Delph etc.) You will get the same arguments regarding price as per but having watched him a fair few times he seems like he is going to be very good. More surprised Southampton didnt take him.
  6. Tyrone Mings has gone to Bournemouth, wish we had signed him.
  7. I dont understand what you lot are talking about finding wolf and griffin armour? Just had my first fight with the wild hunt, needed to be level 6 but was level 4. I like how I had to change my fighting style to fit the boss.
  8. Open the lovely ladies thread
  9. I just see Townsend, Huddlestone and Richards as the next decades Dunne, Barton and Ireland and players of that ilk. Obviously have talent and have shown it to an extent. Expensive, British and average. However better than we currently have and in Huddlestone and Richards id be relatively happy. However Townsend is a one trick pony all be it a trick (score from 20 yards+) that people love to see. His performance for England the other night was woeful, run, run, run inside, head down, shoot and that is his general play IMO. Would be £12 million up the wall.
  10. Damian Lewis has had his odds slashed on becoming the next Bond due to a flurry of bets. Some pretty credible actors being spoken about in Lewis & Elba. With James Mcavoy, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy also but I dont think they would suit the role. I always thought a reason for replacing Daniel Craig was because he was getting older but Lewis and Elba are around the same age and I suppose they wont be rebooting again just continuing in this vein. I think Daniel Craig has done a great job in the grittier more realistic recent Bonds. Just hope they dont do something stupid and choose Henry Cavill.
  11. Just seen a game play video and its just looks like a re skin of a COD game. Scenary looks amazing and the lore it has to work on could make it amazing. Talk of a 40 player multi player really is worrying. I generally take a rule of if a game has a large multiplayer or a general focus on it then the game/story in single player will be poor.

I genuinely thought it would end up taking a year hiatus maybe two and then Clarkson would return as a hero
  13. Im only disappointed because he went to Tenerife, its terrible he could have gone any where.
  14. How has Tarrabt managed to get himself a 5 year contract at Benfica
  15. I really hope we dont have to hear "oysters, clams and cockles" again it makes me want to tear her face off
  16. Never thought the graphics were great on any Fallout game I've seen and that's always been a barrier to me playing them. I know it's no the end of the world but I expect games on my PS4 to look good as that's why I bought it. the Witcher 3 has set the bar high in regards to story telling and graphics. I hope fallout can do the same as I want to love and I love the premise.
  17. Wasnt a terrible episode, will be hyped I think when it was bang average.
  18. Ive agreed to do the hoovering after the tennis. Come on 5 sets!
  19. Any bit of media shows him as an egocentric corrupt arsehole. Surely any one who has done "business" with him at FIFA knows he was a snake. There are bigger fish but hopefully he is the key to uncovering a lot of evidence. Hopefully he has something on Greg Dyke the smug clearing in the woods
  20. I actually agree that he has been good for the sport in parts. It's whether his ego, corruption or poor judgement has then taken the World Cup to places that it shouldn't have been. For all the good he has done in places like Africa and Asia he has stood by while his direct reports have skimmed off the top or just pocketed funds whether he knew or not. He is the head of a beast and the organisation is corrupt, opaque and unorganised below him and he has to take responsibility for that, 17 years is enough time to change the system if you wanted to but he used it to his advantage. Unfortunately the organisation if given the option will appoint a stooge or another will win threw just like Blatter unless the reforms are fit for purpose. Unfortunately the confederations who have ousted him are just as bad, not at any point do I want to see Platini at the top of FIFA. In actual fact the decision makes no difference to me other than World Cup location. Money has ruined the sport we all love and the organisations involved are just a symptom of the money that flows through the game unfortunately and that will not change as where there is money someone will be trying t get a bigger piece of the pie, they can only manage the situation better.
  21. Quote from Greg Dyke“Something has come out of the events of last week that has caused Mr Blatter to resign … He’s gone. At long last we can sort out Fifa. We can go back to looking at those two World Cups. If I were Qatar right now I wouldn’t be feeling very comfortable." As much as I am annoyed by the goings on at FIFA it dosnt really effect me other than World Cup locations. The only thing I want out of this is England being awarded one of those World Cups.
  22. Blatter is just one of many. FIFA it's self needs to be disbanded, reformed and rebranded
  23. Never played a fall out game.....
