  1. He's a word removed. He's not a 'hilarious' word removed. He's just a word removed.
  2. Love that film I knew it was going to be that scene
  3. Finally got the Lies of P Plat today so now I'm gonna try a few different games on my list and see what sticks. I'm leaning towards giving Baldurs Gate 3 another go as I've only played a few hours so far and I keep hearing how fantastic it is.
  4. I thought Four was a cracking return to form but after that I've been disappointed. As for Silent Alarm, it's still an album that gets a regular airing - it's utterly superb with zero filler. I think the drumming alone on that album is worth a listen, it's flawless.
  5. Dogs > Humans. People don't deserve dogs.
  6. I have seen them (yep they're indeed loud) however, High on Fire at the Academy 2 in Brum a few years ago managed to turn everything up to 11 and remain my gig volume kings.
  7. Blimey Tone, hope you get it sorted soon. Had the standard wellness check when I hit the 50 mark a couple of years ago but it was pretty standard. **edit** the heart trace is a good idea though. Even just to tick it off the list.
  8. Similar to me in that: Cinema > Blu rays > Streaming
  9. Feel like I've been waiting for his new one forever:
  10. That's gone on my list cheers. I like some of Glazers work and I still mention the beach scene in Under the Skin as one of most troubling things ever committed to film.
  11. Yeah, I've seen him in quite a few things and never really understood why he's so popular.
  12. Really enjoyed Steel Rising.
  13. Just back from: Easily the most emotional movie I've seen for a long time. It takes the often used themes of loss, grief and isolation and avoids the clichés while constructing its brilliantly written and original story. Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal are both on their A-Game and I'm not gonna lie this one got me right in the feels. Superb stuff.
  14. Yeah also has Maika Monroe in it and is directed by Oz Perkins (son of Anthony) who's done a couple of good movies (loved Blackcoats Daughter). Definitely up for that.
  15. Yeah, it's not too bad at all. Nice and clean.
  16. Happy Birthday Mike! Hope the head bogies **** off pronto.
  17. Yeah, out in the UK this week. Out for a few months in the US.
  18. Just back from watching: Beautiful movie. Definitely deserves all the plaudits it's been receiving. Brilliantly written and acted with Giamatti giving another superb performance (up there with Sideways and American Splendour). Definitely recommended.
