    VVD didn't close down Lookmam for Leicester's winning goal tonight. VvD also made countless errors during the 7-2 last season.

    I think he does too, in every cb partnership. The last thing you want is for your captain to effectively 'give up' against those type of players. I love mings and think he is far, far better than what some give him credit for. But that was utterly pathetic

    Yeh cant argue with that. I just think gerrard isnt as matey with the players and the demands are higher now, so maybe it wouldnt happen as much. I think jack would also be less arrogant in that sense under gerrard

    I agree with that sentiment, but i think in this new setup, gerrard wouldnt make his tactics all about getting the ball to jack. No matter what i think of him for how he left, he is a superb footballer. Imagine him playing in one of the two 10 positions

    Gerrard's MO coming in was to stop the rot, embed his tactics/philosophy and to improve performances/results. Done all that for me. January he might bring in one or two at max but from now till the end of the season its about further improving the above and aiming for a top 10 finish. We as fans need to slow down and get a bit of perspective. It will take 2 or 3 windows to get us where he really wants us

    Cash has been excellent all season but i agree has a rashness about him. He has zero competition at RB and i think if he gad some, his game would improve, seems to have that mentakity.
