He doesnt get lauded or praised though does he, it's written off as either unmentioned, or "well he was better today but" Same with mcginn on a smaller level. They've both been supposed fan favourites since the days in the championship but actually more the biggest scapegoats

I'm surprised, but ultimately not surprised at some posters completely losing their heads because Villa lost. Mings is now a shite captain because him and the rest of the team were abysmal against Arsenal. The replies to this will be he has been shit for weeks. No. He has had more poor performances this year but was brilliant against everton and united. Seems funny how only now people are questioning his captaincy when he has been captain for a third of last season and all of this.

I'm Smith in, yet would not surprise me if the owners were to make a decision if the next 2/3 games are por resuts and performances. The thing for me is how many of our players are misplacing so many passes and getting dispossessed on possession. Every game. Like others, i've always been 100% smith, but he has begun yo make me rethink. How he's watched that first half and changed nothing until half time is worrying.
