  1. Another fan of 'All this Mayhem' here. Great documentary. The segment where Tas beats Hawk in the 'play off' after finishing dead level, showed just how much better Tas was.
  2. 2 episodes behind but yeah i agree, seems pretty underrated with not that many people watching it but its brilliant, lots of interesting side stuff, great main cast, saying that im not convinced by the dorian gray stuff this series I like it too. This series has been a little slower than the first, but the latest episode was better.

    Top Gear

You'd be ok if a colleague punched you in the face at work you but the management decided to keep him on, and give him a new contract because he was a good salesman. No you wouldn't. I keep reading this (or this sort of thing) My view is, it would depend on the situation. I would imagine 'scraps' take place in lots of industries and are sorted out in house, probably with a beer and a hand shake in some circumstances. It's usually people not connected to the incident that make the biggest fuss. Like people who complain about things on TV they didn't actually watch, or people that start petitions about Glastonbury, when they have never been! Im not saying ALL industries or circumstances. Clearly, smacking someone in the gob in a corporate office environment probably wouldn't fly.

    Greece

Austerity on its own doesn't work. Austerity is working perfectly as it is supposed to do, the error is believing it's meant to balance the books and pay off debt. Booooooooom Yet this is what some of the leading politicians across Europe believe (or more importantly, want the plebs to believe) Can you give Georgie boy a call and let him know? Might go to voicemail as he's busy up a ladder, 'fixing the roof' whilst the sun shines, but please be sure to leave a message - it really is one he needs to hear.

    Greece

Already in it and will get worse if they stay. I'll try and find the article, but if they take the EU deal, they are looking at austerity for nigh on 50 years. They can't pay back the debt quick enough under a stagnant, austerity driven, economy. They need to hit a surplus of 7.2% or something like that for the next 10-15 years for a start and the only country that has ever maintained a surplus like that, for that long is Norway and they certainly didn't do it in the circumstances Greece are in. What they are being asked to do is impossible and grossly unfair on the general population. They may as well take the gamble. Austerity on its own doesn't work. The quicker everyone starts waking up to it, the better.

    Greece

I'm not so sure the socialists are that clueless to be honest. Being part of the EU isn't working for them and won't work for them for a very long time (if ever). If I lived there, I'd would see a break away and a return to being in control of the economy as a gamble worth taking. The EU is scared and is trying to use fear to retain control. It worked for the Tories over here, but the Greeks look like they've got a bit of spunk left in them and are up for the scrap. Good on em.
  7. Play.com or whatever it's called these days have the elder scrolls bundle for £243 for 48 hours.
  8. I'm not a hard core gamer, I don't even own a machine at the moment, but I played a bit of this on my eldest lad's xbox one and really enjoyed it. I must be a bit simple or easily pleased, becuase I've loved the batmobile bits so far!
  9. Chemical Bros tearing it up al Glastonbury - brilliant set so far - great visuals on BBC 3 HD
  10. What Stevo said. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is his Magnus Opus. It's an unbelievable record. A genuine 10/10 work of all killer no filler brilliance. It's one those genre-less albums that any music fan should listen to . His most critically acclaimed album, yet his worst performing commercially. He could have just kept making albums full of old soul samples and summer beats, milking that cash cow would have been far bigger in sales than 808's, MBDTF and Yeezus.
  11. There are indeed. The problem is that for a lot of people he would be the first sample of Hip Hop/Rap and that's like your first exposure to alcohol being a tepid pint of Carling. Awwww come on dude, that's just plain wrong. You're making out like he's some kind of shit, mainstream 'pop hop' act. I absolutely get why people think he's an idiot, but musically? He's right up there. I can't believe the hate he gets to be honest. He's made 6 superb albums back to back, taking massive risks in the process. He's never tried to make deliberately radio friendly albums, or just carried on churning out the same old shite. Whether you like the music he makes or not, I think he deserves respect for the way he makes it. He's the hip hop version of Radiohead in that respect. I thought he was good overall last night. A brilliant opening and a brilliant end, let down a bit by a stodgy middle segment and some bad DJ'ing at times.
  12. WHAT!? No freaking way dude, he's the best thing about Sky's coverage! I wish Sky would steal Aggers or vice versa with the Beeb and Bumble. Them two commentating together would be almost as good as listening to Peter Allis doing the Golf!
  13. Oi DDID, leave the drug dealers out of this!! Jeez, some people just go too far.
  14. I kind of see what you are saying Ruge, but where do you draw the line (or keep giving into fear)? I'm taking my family to the states soon. Millions of guns in circulation, mass shootings on a pretty regular basis and probably the number one spot on most terrorists 'bucket list' Irresponsible or not?
  15. Was going to say the same. It'll be shite, which people will go and see just for the totally unnecessary gore only present to hide his inability to build up any proper horror or tension. You're probably right Stevo, but it's about a 60ft Shark. A 60ft Shark. If the budget is there to make the shark realistic and it eats people, attacks boats and leaps out of the water to grab helicopters then I'm in. I'd even go and see it if Useless was directing it!
  16. Yeah it would be a shame if he ruins it. Im surprised there hasn't been a proper blockbuster based on the Megalodon before. I mean when you look at the success of Jaws back in the day, it seems like a no brainer of a cash cow. Its got the whole lot. It was a real creature, some people (mainly crazy admittedly) argue they could still be out there and it's scary as actual fook.
  17. I thought the first episode was superb. I think it will reach the same standard as the first season, but it will just be different that's all. All of of the leads, including Vaughn, were really good.
  18. Should be a larf. I wanna see this.
  19. http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/jun/17/eli-roth-horror-movie-meg-shark-prehistoric THIS is what the world needs. A proper big budget Megalodon film! I've read the first book, it's nothing special - it's a 'read in a day' throwaway novel, BUT there is enough there for someone to get a decent script out of it and if they have the budget, it could be ace. The Megalodon in the book makes JAWS look like a goldfish with sharp teeth.
  20. Me. When it's all reduced to £5 and £10 at the end of each season £10 for tops, £5 shorts and £3 socks. Most of it looks better than the actual kit
  21. Amen to that. We never learn though do we? If a player isn't great in the first few months he's shit and we need to get rid.
  22. Not watched it, but heard good things about it from a lad at work. I canned Amazon Prime becuase it wouldn't work with Chromecast, but now their content seems to be picking up, I might grab one of those Fire Sticks and give it another go.
  23. Not really surprised to be honest. Good show, I like it, but I can see why it lacks broader appeal.
