  1. Bringing this back for Chance the Rapper's new album. Hadn't really heard of him until the verse on Ultralightbeam, my lad had mentioned him a couple of times, but took no notice until then. Listened to his new album 'colouring book' a few times today. Properly good, well worth your time. Kanye's influence is all over it, it's college dropout/late registration-esque in parts, but not in a try hard, rip off, kind of way. He mixes his flow up really well and it's a real soulful summer record.
  2. Yoda for me, all day long. Would be brilliant in the right hands.
  3. That's a fair point, people can and do change and you're right about the off pitch antics. It's just my opinion, but there's something off about him. We need someone to unite and galvanise us, a big character, but the right kind. He's too combative with fans and media for me. Whatever happens with the sale of the club, whether we spend £2m or £25m on the team, a lot of fans will expect at least a play off place next year. It's going to be a high pressure job, don't think he's up to it. I'm not sure the football he gets his teams to play is much cop either to be fair (although that's a lesser concern, just winning games would be nice!)
  4. Great way of putting it that. Its exactly where I am with him. Don't think he's an awful manager by any means. I do think he as personality 'issues' and I don't think he's the right man for Villa at this time. I think appointing him would be a mistake and he wouldn't last a season IMO. Don't think he'd handle the pressure well at all.
  5. Phew, thought I'd somehow missed it. You had me panicking!
  6. I might be missing the wider context and this may well be a continuation of a wider reaching campaign to discredit labour on security. I accept that. Referring specifically to this article in isolation and my personal take on it, I believe they have attempted to make a non-too-subtle link between Khan the Muslim candidate and a terrorist atrocity committed by Muslims in London. People are voting for an individual, not a party on this occasion. I know party politics plays a big part in it, but for me this article is saying one thing with the aim of suggesting another. I don't know if 'dog whistle' is the right term, but it makes it easy for the Muslim link to be made, without blatantly saying it. A quick scan of the net/social media would suggest I'm not the only one thinks this? Picture may have been papers Idea/choice, but I doubt very much his team were not given the opportunity to see it/sign off on it prior to print. We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one Mantis, I think it attempts to use race, you don't - we won't change each other's minds.
  7. Spot on that top line. The first series was odd. Well made and an interesting premise, but very slow and often dull. Me and the other half nearly didn't bother with series two. Then it just completely flips. From the theme tune, to the pace/storyline - everything just changes and it turns into a brilliant programme. Apart from the actors, it was like a totally different show!
  8. I've said why I think it's to do with race Mantis. The actual arctice talks about a lot of different issues, but the photo and the headline make it obvious. Vote for a Muslim and you'll get another terror attack.
  9. I don't know what to say to that Mantis. I completely and fundamentally disagree. It's absolutely 100% race related as far as I'm concerned. Each to ther own and I respect your opinion, but that article is as racially charged as they come.
  10. The whole Corbyn/Labour/Anti-Semitism/Palestine/Israel issue is a related, but separate clusterfunk. This is a very specific and a targeted way of campaigning using fear and race. Muslims bombed you and if you vote one in for Mayor of London then you'll get bombed again because Labour will let them. Thats is the message that article attempts to deliver. Don't care what anyone says, the aim is crystal clear. Divide and conquer.
  11. In hindsight, my suggestion he should face criminal charges was an overreaction. It isn't blatant enough for a charge to stick. That said, if you don't think this article has a racial/racist agenda, then I think that's a naive view at best. Basically - Vote for Labour (who's candidate happens to be a Muslim) and you run the risk of another 7/7 because Labour are friends with Muslim terrorists. Whoever chose the photo, knew the link they were making. Even putting that to one side, that is pretty much exactly what that headline says is it not?
  12. CAP 3 Wow. Easily the best Avengers movie and now my second favourite Marvel film, behind Guardians of the Galaxy (by a cats whisker) Demitri is right - the fight at the airport is amazing. Spiderman is brilliant.
  13. With how campaigns are run these days, I'd find it hard to believe that at the very least, his team were not given sight of the finished article before print. And the headline: "On Thursday, are we really going to hand the worlds greatest city to a Labour party that think terrorists are its friends" There is no way they signed off on this without seeing it and it's a disgrace. He should be suspended from office and charged with inciting racial hatred. Very little coverage in the media so far, they are all a lot more interested in Labours Anti-semitism. Wonder why that is?
  14. Whilst the Bollywood thing is quite funny, Goldsmith's article in the Mail on Sunday today isn't. It's an absolute disgrace. Using an image of 7/7 to suggest Labour are terrorist sympathisers and win votes? Absolute scum. It's the sort of thing you'd expect from the EDL I hope the likes of the BBC dive on this. It's easily as bad as the whole Livingstone thing.
  15. Agreed, I was never a huge fan of the multiplayer in the old games, but the campaigns were amazing. The problem with the multiplayer games is, they are just a shotgun-fest. The lancer and hammer burst are woeful - takes about 50 hits to knock someone down! I put practically a whole clip in someone charging at me yesterday and blam, they got close enough and game over. Doesn't help that I am absolutely shite with the shotgun Hope they balance the weapons out a bit more and make the maps a bit bigger.
  16. Anyone had a go of this yet? After becoming pretty decent at Star Wars, I thought I'd give this a go and I'm getting my ass absolutely handed to me! Loved Gears on 360 - this is pretty decent.
  17. My Mrs has had the Qashai and the smaller Juke and loved them both. In a Vauxhall Mokka now and loves that too As Stevo said though get a new one. How much is a 2010 model going to cost you with, servicing, tax etc? You can lease them for less than £200 a month and that's brand new top spec.
  18. May is shaping up nicely for the return of some favourites and some new stuff. Veep is back May 2nd Penny Dreadful - May 3rd Peaky Blinders - May 5th Billions - May 12th Silicon Valley - May 12th Banshee - May 20th Preacher - May 23rd Wayward Pines - May 25th Some quality TV right there.
  19. Imagine the meltdown! Would be brilliant.
  20. Along with Cahill, Albrighton, Davis and possibly Lowton and Bannan. All of them in one way shape or form, deemed not good enough for us. Two of them will have won the league
