  1. Great, hopefully he will get regular game time and it works out like it did for Jack at Notts County.
  2. To be fair, I would love if we put this much effort into our analysis of games and players. And quite frankly, this is what I had assumed happened at some of the top clubs all of the time (maybe I'm wrong) but glad to see a manager who wants nothing else but to win and will do everything in his power to achieve that. I know he is unpredictable but you can't say he's not entertaining. Will be interesting to see how the EFL react now, I think they are open for criticism no matter what they do.
  3. Looks good, no issues with the rotation. We need a competitive squad. I'm also now terrified of what will happen up front if Tammy gets injured. ? 2-1 Villa tonight..just. UTV
  4. To this day I still cannot understand how that wasn't a penalty..
  5. FFS.. He'll prob play a blinder now like that one time Ciaran Clark did against Arsenal (I think) and end up keeping his place there
  6. it might happen yet. I think he should get a full run out tonight against Burton and then see how he gets on. I think playing regularly would do him good, but not sure either Norwich or Bolton would play him regularly.
  7. Anyone know whats really going on with this? has he been locked up in JulieB's basement along with the bones of Miguel or whats the story?
  8. Has he been cleared to play this saturday? I certainly hope so but I thought clearance took a few days after signing.
  9. Can someone please give me an idea of the formation? At work and can't watch or listen to this. But it sounds god awful anyways ?
  10. I"m hoping that Elmo & Hutton will occupy the full back positions and Jedi will form part of a midfield three with McGinn and Whelan. Maybe Adomah will pull his socks up tonight with the arrival of El Ghazi and give us a performance!
  11. Potentially, but he seems to be a bit of a trouble maker (going by Rodgers) and we have had enough of them at the club over the last few years. Would rather someone like Tomas Kalas who is back at Chelsea again but not getting anywhere near the first team.
  12. I like the look of this, definitely enough in there to win comfortably. I'm hoping the middle & front 3 look a bit like this --------Hourihane-------Whelan------- Adomah----------JDH---------Green ------------------RHM---------------- Great chance for JDH to make his mark on the squad and would love Green & RHM to get on the scoresheet. Would do their confidence some good. Excited for this now! UTV!
  13. Winning breeds confidence. Yes the Ipswich & Brentford games are very important but we got lucky against Wigan at the weekend, and a good win with fringe players taking their chance and putting some pressure on the regular starters would set us up nicely I feel. I want us to win this and win it well. That being said; ----------------------------Moriera--------------------------- Bree----------Elphick---------Tuanzebe-------Taylor --------Lansbury-------Bjarnason--------Hourihane ------------Adomah----------------------Green------------ --------------------Hepburn-Murphy------------------ Bring on maybe McGinn, RDL, and Kodija to hopefully see it out and get some much needed minutes/confidence.
  14. I didn't realise he was only 25 to be honest. Good luck to him, unlikely to make it here and but had a decent showing against hull and has been a good pro. Hopefully gets a good run of games and benefits from it
  15. Nyland Elmo - Chester - Axel - Hutton Whelo Adomah - Hourihane - Green Grealish Kodija Subs: Steer, Thor, McGinn, RHM, Taylor, RDL, Lansbury
  16. so 3 loans left so going to throw down some reasonable and mostly unreasonable names ? Snodgrass/Lookman/Bolasie I can't see Drinkwater getting much gametime at Chelsea now, he would be a very strong addition for this league. Holding at Arsenal won't get much either barring an injury crisis, which can never be ruled out at Arsenal. Connor Wickham at Palace might suit us, but I'd rather Kodija & Hogan get their act together and use RHM & Green as backup instead.
  17. I thought he was chained up in JulieB's basement along with the bones of Miguel & Robbie Keane ..
  18. He's trying to do the best of impression of his brother. Shame his career never progressed the way it should have. He had the ability but never kicked on and suffered some bad injuries at crucial points in his development. Best of luck to him and another one off the wage bill.
  19. I still get the shivers whenever I see his "transfer news" emoji pop up.. guaranteed excitement. McGinn, Bryan in Grealish staying
  20. All we need is the championship equivalent of Moustapha Salifou and we will win the league by Feb, score a thousand goals, concede 2, and sell out every game. ?
  21. My thoughts exactly, hoping he will be the championship equivalent of Milner a few years back.
  22. Same, I'd like to see how good he can be with consistent ad injury free run in the side. I can only see him playing alongside Chester, don't think he is needed in midfield now as we will be well stocked there. I can see it working out the Chester - Terry partnership, with Chester now stepping up again having learned from Terry last year. I think Chester will thrive with the captaincy and hopefully Axel will benefit playing alongside him.
  23. Abraham starting tonight with Chelsea against Lyon..
