    If that happened then he'd have one year left on his contract next year. So I doubt his value would be higher than it is now. ahh. forgot about that little factor.. my bad

    just a thought... if he dosent leave. does any1 think that he will play absolutely play out of his skin just to either prove he is worth 30mill and stick it to man city or to try and engineer a move anyways?? could be possible considering the type of player that he is.. and that would be a very win win situation for us, getting a great season out of him again and increasing his value even more.. of course then we could be in the situation where we break the top 4 and then thats a whole other story.. any1??

    finishing 4th is all well and good but we would still have to qualify for the group stages and thats no easy feat.. quailfying and then getting thrashed in the group will do no1 any good in the long run.. prefer a cup win, FA or if possible europa with a couple of big games at VP plz and thanks!

    The lad had 1 good season, couold have been a Holte End Hero but has clearly stated that he does not want to be here, i loved the guy and thought he might have had more loyalty then this but some1 recently pointed out that he did the same thing when he was at Newcastle when we came calling. No point in keeping a player who does not want to be here, if we get 20 million and ireland id be delighted!! might be able to pay for a decent striker and give MON some "Squad Rotation Classes" of some1

    would certainly hope so!! Doyle is a quality player, very interested to see how well he does with a good supply of ball to him..

    # 100 million per cent agree!! we missed out on him. his value ha increased. he prob wont move anyways. hes on crazy wages. get over it. i cant help wondering what some players might be like if they got the proper support and quality deileverys into the strikers... like stephen fletcher,kalinic,doyle etc.. could be worth a punt and maybe produce 10,15 goals a season. thoughts??

    cant wait for MM now!! the only one with some decent solid idea of whats going on inside VP INS: VDV - 8mill (if l'plop are going to have a go for him then we defo shld!) Keane - 8-10mill McGeady - 9mill Ireland - 7mill Clyne - 4mill any forward that knows where to run off the ball and scores more then 5 goals in a season fingers crossed!!!! its going to be a loooooong ass summer!!
