Watched 105 minutes of football today and it's all been awful. First 90 min of Everton and Arse and now this. Hopefully we'll hit our stride soon.

I'm gonna blame this on the injury messing up the rhythm but we look disjointed and clueless. Southampton look even worse mind.

Couple of strange decisions by El Ghazi so far.

Pathetic display of football from the 2 interim manager led teams at Everton and Arsenal. Both are way out of their dept as managers with Ferguson being a "shouty motivator" and Freddy being "good with the kids" and nothing more. Both Ancelotti and Arteta looking on in disbelief from the stands. Edit: Both leaving with a final insult to their teams, Ljungberg with his silly selection and Ferguson with once again taking off a player he previously subbed on in the game.

Benteke scored his last goal exactly 8 months ago today. April 21st 2019 against Arsenal. Incidentally the only (league) goal he scored last season. Then we have to go back another full year to find his previous one that was scored on April 28th 2018 against Leicester. That's £120k/w for a guy who has a scoring rate on once per year The guy has had his knees destroyed by injuries. He is finished. Given enough time he might score the odd goal, but so will Wesley as he's shown. Any talk of Benteke is just nostalgia.

Apparently our old buddy Steve Round is to be part of Mikel Arteta's backroom staff at Arsenal. Wonder if we will see a new "Arsenal Engine"?

Sadly I kinda agree. We are where I expected us to be in the table, or thereabouts anyway. But Imo we are looking a bit worse than I thought we would. We are no able to play the football we want to play. I honestly didn't expect us to be in the bottom 3 when it came to attempted passes and number of touches of the ball per game. I'm certain that's not what Smith wanted and expected either and it's been an issue for us. Atm we are very much a bottom team playing like a bottom team. It's rushed, sloppy and riddled with errors. We are inexperienced and it shows. and even thou we score goals we lack quality in the final 3rd. We desperately need a new striker and ideally another wide player as El Ghazi is too unreliable and Trez is frankly not good enough. Maybe we even need an upgrade in central midfield but that won't happen until the summer. If we stay up.

The Swedish FA has appealed UEFA's decision to clear the Romanian FA after their fans made monkey noises against Alexander Isak during the qualifiers in Bucharest. UEFA probably don't want to punish a country where they have decided to host next summers EURO's despite them having huge issues with racism.

Think they did an impressive job of salvaging the mess that TLJ left. I liked it for the most part, the dialogue was a bit silly even by Star Wars standards and the twist were easy to predict but other than that it was fine. Be interesting to watch it again to see any details I missed. The amount of fan service was through the roof. Very solid 7/10

Where has this "he has a £45m buyout clause" come from? It's all over the media. If this is true we must get him on a new contract asap because that is way too low.

Think it's a bit more complex when comparing clubs in the PL to clubs the Championship. Those championship clubs at the top are playing with confidence against poorer sides while the bottom PL clubs are playing without confidence against much better sides in the PL. Think the gap between PL and Championship is actually quite big. As for Green, he might still have a career, but he's going to have to take the long road.
