  1. Queue the "it's just another modern bowl" comments
  2. Sander Berge it is. Just need Nyland to convince him to come here and not to Liverpool or London
  3. 3rd red card in 2019, doing his best to catch up to Alfredo Morelos.
  4. By all means move him back into the middle. The issue is that the wide player coming in would be Trez or Jota. Not exactly strengthening our starting 11
  5. He's looking more like the Grinch than ever.
  6. Still think he high price was partly because we needed it to be this high to get him a work permit. Nothing else warrants such a high price for a player with his CV.
  7. True, but that was the first title since 13/14 (cup and league) that Juve didn't win. They've won the league for 8 straight season.
  8. Not sure he's anything special although winning stuff in Italy you have to be manager of Juventus.
  9. Statue has now been covered in silver paint and some bell end has sawed the nose off.
  10. Morelos would certainly add this. The fans at Rangers even call him "El Bufalo"

    Doping

Barcelona and Spain absolutely used EPO or blood doping for a number of years while working with Dr Eufemiano Fuentes. I have zero doubt about it.
  12. Bit of a myth that we are playing, or even trying to play "entertaining" football. We are 18th in passes made and in touches of the ball in the PL.
  13. His best asset is his crossing and we usually don't have anyone in the box because Wes is never where he is supposed to be.
  14. Just for reference, Allardyce doesn't really have stellar results and would in no way ensure us staying up. His 1 game for England hides a rather poor points return average. He would also bring his revolting personality. https://www.transfermarkt.com/sam-allardyce/profil/trainer/445 Club Appointed In charge until Position Matches PPM Everton 17/18 (Nov 30, 2017) 17/18 (May 16, 2018) Manager 26 1,42 Crystal Palace 16/17 (Dec 23, 2016) 16/17 (May 23, 2017) Manager 23 1,26 England 16/17 (Jul 22, 2016) 16/17 (Sep 27, 2016) Manager 1 3,00 Sunderland 15/16 (Oct 9, 2015) 16/17 (Jul 21, 2016) Manager 31 1,16 West Ham 10/11 (Jun 1, 2011) 14/15 (Jun 30, 2015) Manager 181 1,39 Blackburn 08/09 (Dec 17, 2008) 10/11 (Dec 13, 2010) Manager 90 1,36 Newcastle 06/07 (May 15, 2007) 07/08 (Jan 9, 2008) Manager 24 1,25 Bolton 99/00 (Oct 19, 1999) 06/07 (Apr 30, 2007) Manager 267 1,40
  15. We are currently in a slump meaning that whoever isn't playing is the one we feel should have been playing. If Elmo plays next game I wouldn't be surprised if after the game we all think that Guilbert should have started.
  16. Yeah we need to abandon the "only loan players with a buy for set fee clause" strategy. If we can get a quality player in on loan, even one we have no chance of keeping in the summer we must. Because the current starting 11 is not good enough. A striker, a RW, ideally a CM and a LB is needed to stay up. No way will we be able to afford all that in Jan.
  17. Wasn't plan A to play Grealish in the middle like we did at the start of the season? Plan B was to move him to the left that worked pretty well (first time in that position was 5-1 against Norwich) for a period until our opponents learned it and nullified it. Remains to see what plan C will be. No doubt it will once again center around getting the ball to Grealish because the rest of our squad lacks quality. The he only has a plan A is a bit not true.
  18. Apparently his performances last season and the fact he's retired is also easy to forget.
  19. If football was a turn based strategy game, sure.
  20. Even if he agreed to really low wages he'd a be a very expensive spectator. The games would just pass him by.
  21. Lets get Heskey and Lescott back as well. Let's build be the most static team in history. Perfect for the type of football we face in the PL I can see it now, Dean Smith's terracotta army, only bit less mobile and more brittle.
  22. I don't think so either, at least not until if things get desperate. But then again i would not be totally shocked if he was if this form continues. The owners has to look to protect their investment. If they feel they can find someone who has a better shot at this they will possibly act. Don't think they will make any rash decisions thou.
  23. Modern football waits for no man. Ranieri lasted until February the year after he won Leicester the title. Right or wrong the club will be pragmatic about Smith. January will be huge, the current squad is not good enough.
  24. Clutching at straws here but could the language barrier be a factor? Sure all our players are at least OK at English but we do have a squad with a diverse background from Egypt to Zimbabwe and France to Belgium to Brazil. No I don't really believe it either.
