  1. Who then had it's entire defense dismantled by Bruce
  2. I think those stats look about as what you'd expect. It's how they've looked for most games this season. we are right near the bottom at attempted passes, possession% and touches of the ball. Only Newcastle and Burnley are worse in most areas. I wouldn't say it's how we wan't to play, but it's how we are comfortable to play currently. We are also likely to be in a bit of a confidence slump following our dismal run of results in the league. It was men against boys so just like they had more energy and drive, we had more composure and better execution. Nyland shouldn't need to be MOTM for us but it all worked out.
  3. Latest I read West Ham were an option for Sander Berge, they won't even have a manager before long. Maybe we still have an outside chance of getting him. Obviously not if Plop are still interested.
  4. How did this kid manage to get a shirt without the wonky shoulders?
  5. Do they have television in Wales? Maybe he can be a pundit. Has no future as a footballer.
  6. Think they signed him a while back but he's not allowed to move before he turned 18.
  7. He's been sold to Fulham this autumn, but after the window closed so they were not able to register him yet. But he's been training with Fulham this season.
  8. Chalk this one up as effective in the first and controlled in the second? 43% possession 5 goals from 8 shots on target 2-7 in corners Nyland MOTM Job done.
  9. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7767377/Premier-League-clubs-keeping-tabs-West-Brom-starlet-Rayhaan-Tulloch-ahead-Man-United-meeting.html Paper talk so make of it what you will.
  10. Nice couldn't really hoped for more than this tonight. Perfect end to the game
  11. Well of course he did. He was forced to play him, it wasn't a malicious choice he made. Bruce left us with only him and our RB Tuanzebe.
  12. That was Steve Bruce, not Smith
  13. They were never going down either way but nice marquee appointment for them
  14. A bit about the players we might face.' https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-liverpool-youngsters-set-to-take-on-villa/
  15. Hopefully this isn't the game where Harvey Elliot is dubbed "the next" Wayne Rooney or Raheem Sterling.
  16. Agreed. This should be a perfect game for him to get some confidence and hopefully score a goal or at least be more involved.
  17. Great news everyone! Nicklas "The Lord" Bendtner has been released by FCK Copenhagen and is now a free agent. Problem solved

    Douglas Luiz

Still think this scout report on Douglas Luiz is the best recap I've read about him. They have him down as a "box to box" midfielder. They also has his long shot down as one of his weaknesses to It's not 100% spot on http://outsideoftheboot.com/2017/09/17/scout-report-douglas-luiz/
  19. Thanks! I've been advocating a shake up and modernization at our academy for some while now so it's nice to see we are doing it. Us not being first on the ball with local talent has grated me too but we also must look to bring in foreign young talents even more imo.
  20. Watchmen picked up a bit towards the latter half of the series. Overall it finished on a respectable 7/10 or a strong 6 for me. Not great, not terrible. (I grade on a Gazzetta dello Sport curve so a 7 is a good grade)
  21. Anyone with insight who can explain what West Brom is currently doing that is seemingly letting them produce very sought after young players. Louie Barry off to Barcelona, Morgan Rogers to Man City Apparently we are trying to sign one of theirs named Rayhaan Tulloch
  22. João Pedro to Watford from Fluminense Wayne Rooney to Derby Michael Hector to Fulham from Chelsea
