  1. According to Corriere dello Sport we've inquired about beanpole (6ft 8 ) striker Paul Onuachu at Genk.
  2. First signing for Eddie Howe if he ends up at Newcastle?
  3. For those who likes true crime and Scandinavian murder stuff this might be something. It's about Stig Engström, the guy who allegedly shot and killed the Swedish prime minister Olof Palme back in 1986. Series is based on a book about him follows his very odd behavior before and after the murder. It's getting good reviews so I'll give it a try even thou I rarely watch Swedish stuff. (Same 8-10 actors in every movie or series, seen one seen them all)
  4. Axel is a liability in his regular position, would be a disaster in this unfamiliar one, just like he was at RB.
  5. Really hope "bigger name" doesn't mean someone who was a big name player but has proved little in management.
  6. Saudis are worse. The Yemen war alone puts them right at the top when it comes to abhorrent nations. And that's just part of it.
  7. Yeah but he has a bucket to sit on.

    Probably nothing, right? https://www.reuters.com/world/china/china-urges-families-keep-stores-daily-needs-ahead-winter-2021-11-02/

  12. Yeah, he's probably the one. Doing the Red Bull career path of leading Salzburg to get primed for the Leipzig gig. Would a very interesting name and a huge gamble. Edit: Fun side note he apparently worked in Denmark and Bröndby for 2 years so...
  13. Aguero is a heart issue, it's an issue he had as a kid too apparently.
  14. What a lovely tradition to have, severance pay and a spot of Cricket. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/16586650/steve-bruce-england-australia-cricket-dubai-newcastle/ He looks so much healthier already, really should not put himself through the stress and pressure of managing. But then again £8m pay off is nice.
  15. PSG are apparently looking at Joao Palhinha (Sporting) for that position. Now there is a player I would love at Villa. Won't happen of course, just like Kessie wont.
  16. I quite liked Rouge One and thought The Force Awakens was a solid 7/10, mainly because it was basically A New Hope. Everything else (The Mandalorian included) has been forgettable or poor imo. The look and production value on The Mandalorian is nice thou.
  17. Probably should have added that I didn't want a human sized Foie gras smelling of port and Drakkar Noir.
  18. Really don't want any of these (English) big name former players who's been fast tracked to a manager role due to their name. No Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Pirlo, or Joey Barton Not the right time or job for either of them or anyone like them IMO. I know those names are not all comparable. Nothing against a young manager but then someone who's done the studying and worked his way up. I want a manager who's meticulous, tactical, hands on in training (or at least setting up training and individual training), uses video and data to study opponents and educate players. And I'm pretty sure that's what our football people like Lange also wants.
