Saw Jack and The Real Deals last night, a rockabilly band from lincolnshire played a small club in Stafford, they were excellent, great selection of songs, very very good. Next up for me I think is the Western Star weekend in Bristol, a day of rockabilly, then a day of psychobilly.

October for me, Flamingo and The D. MGM Grand is my favourite but finances wouldnt stretch that far this time.

The mighty shrews, Shrewsbury Town, supported them for many years and if I was just a fraction closer would probably invest in a season ticket. Also been watching Yeovils progress since they were non league.

I think the difference Shillzz is that if they are in afghanistan then they have their wits about them, always on alert, always prepared. Same for the families of the soldiers, they dread that phonecall. I think and I dont think this is a facebook led thing, but people have come together on this as the guy was cut down in britain, he didnt have to be on guard. I think thats why people have got behind it. That said, I tend to get pissed off with people RIP-ing complete strangers.

Stayed in Hammamet in 99, for my honeymoon. We had a week in Les Orangers and then a week doing what they call a desert safari. Moving round in a 4x4, kairouan, carthage, el djem, tozeur. etc. Saw some great historical sights as well as the inevitable star wars stuff. Watched the sun set in the sahara, which is up there with the grand canyon for me. now it was 99 but I loved the place. Cheap back then, good food, no complaints at all. The locals are pushy when it comes to flogging stuff and women did get leered at. I hope to return, possibly next year.

Would people openly proclaim support for the BNP? People seem ok to do it for UKIP, just seems that people aren't ashamed of supporting such a racist organisation. Also Delphino, I thought you were from surrey, or have you just moved to Doncaster North, if you have just moved there, how do you know that Miliband is such a poor MP?

What's wrong with Jimmy Bullard? He left 7 years ago. he is a word removed of the highest order, for me its people like him ripping football clubs off is what is wrong with football at the moment. Hodgson kicked him out at Fulham and then he became a bigger clearing in the woods at Hull. Never like his jack the lad attitude he tried to portray This is the same Bullard that got a standing ovation when he went off at VP with an injury.

I am a disillusioned football fan and am trying to wean myself off premier league football full stop. I hate prima donnas and they are the ones ruining the game. I know its been going on for some years but its reached a tipping point for me. So I havent seen a single ball being kicked since January. Not on sky, not at VP not MOTD. Its been fantastic. I support Villa, but certainly nothing like you boys do. If the unthinkable does happen next weekend, I will shed a tear.

I think as I said at the time, most people expected immediate great things from Lambert, when I predicted 17th I didnt see any real change. Now and if we survive this season, we will finish 10th. But lets not get ahead of ourselves yet. -

Can you please back up the last statement, I suspect you are right but could you give evidence for Labour opening the floodgates please. Is it because of Labour being in power in 67?
