    I don't believe this. I think Gerrard paid someone to CGI in the balls and CGI the smiles and the sunlight. There were bits in the friendlies where the players didn't even move, so the players don't know how to move. You could CGI things in when you're manager in Scotland, but not in England. The audio is fake too as nobody speaks in Gerrard training sessions. That's what happens when players have babies and I wonder if they bring the babies to training with them. Gerrard is clueless if he lets players bring their babies to training. Gerrard thinks players having babies is a good idea and he thinks it's OK for players to bring their babies to training with them. Look at the result: CGI smiles and nobody can speak in training because everyone is worried about waking the babies. No wonder none of the players know how to move. Also, ignore the second half against Man U and any other game. And he never plays Buendia and Coutinho together except for when he does, like in our actual previous competitive game.

    I can only say my own impressions, but I said something similar the other day, and it's perhaps because of a lack of things like 'I think' and other language like that—and maybe moreso that a lot of the boldest, most subjective statements have the tone of being facts! (I think )

    It's been said a lot, but he hasn't had a chance, and when he has, including and outside of that Man U game, he has looked good enough and worthy of the speculation that he might have something good to offer. The fact he didn't get an assist in that game, or got an assist for them, isn't really evidence of anything.

    Grealish got 12 assists in that season. That's hardly a player who made no impact. Watkins also had no striker competition that season too, but he had Ings last season, vastly reducing his time/being the main focus up front. Is this thread going to be your new Davis thread?

    Especially considering we lost our chief creative player, by far our best player, and highest assist maker with 12 assists.

    I feel that he used all three subs in 90% of the games as far as I can remember. So it's not a leap thinking Sanson has more chance of getting on the pitch now.

    Ah, so 11 and 7 are the wingers. I couldn't get Ian Taylor out of my head in relation to the 7s—and McGinn of course! I know Taylor is from a different era, but I just had 7 down as a CM.

    Men's football is pure unabashed capitalism, and capitalism at its worst. We have sportswashing to the max: Man City, Newcastle, PSG, Chelsea and whatever else excusing some abhorrant regimes. We have the mega wealthy pulling away and leaving everyone else to pick up the scraps. Football has changed and not really for the better. If people get upset about anti-racism messages, or solidarity with LGBTQ issues and saying nothing about anything else then at least a little bit I think it's a shame that they choose to throw their toys out of the pram about the inclusive messages while ignoring all the other abundant 'political' messages out there that genuinely have huge affects on the competitiveness and enjoyability of the sport. Well, at the end of the day, I guess we just all have to try to enjoy what's left of the football—I mean, of course, whatever's left after the snowflakes have cried about their (real, genuine) issues.
