I liked the result. I don't think we should be worried the way we are playing and this result just keeps things tighter.

I think the same about John McGinn. I know money talks but he seems to be loving it at Villa. I'm not too afraid of any bids coming in as long as we mantain our current trajectory. I think the club will be looking to make some big signings which will leave the players in no doubt where we want to be going.

I too would like another quality striker. That's easier said than done this time of year but if Watkins picks up an injury i dread to think. I havent written off Davis, just don't think he's striker material! He could play as a forward in behind though. I think other areas of the pitch we're in pretty good shape.

Has great ability on the ball and obviously knows where the net is. Looks to be worth every penny of 17m to me. He will get better too.
