  1. Brilliant tonight shame about the yellow.
  2. To be fair to Allardyce he simply knew he was screwed after the daft actions of Livermore. Their keeper Johnstone was their best player tonight.
  3. So good we almost take performances like this for granted. Would definitely score more if he took a few more shots on. That's not even a criticism though.
  4. The holy grail for a winger is consistency... if he can keep his chin up and keep on competing physically even when it's not going his way then he will have shown learning and improvement. Was fantastic tonight well played Anwar.
  5. Absolutely and goes to show a fair few on here couldnt analyse a card game of snap. Will never understand writing a player off without a fair chance. Well played Traore. Good thing is hes quite comfortable on the ball like Jack is albeit a much lazier style. Has a great eye for a pass too. Very promising.
  6. Said this on Thursday night after seeing all the crap slung Traore's way. Give new players a fair chance before writing off. Same goes for Wes.
  7. A 5G head protector to stop the signals that make him do stupid shit with McCormack
  8. It's that easy it is when youre basically relegation fodder? Come on get real. You can only do so much in a transfer window and theres bound to be holes in the team. You could argue Dean hasnt utilised the subs enough up until now. Perhaps if he had there might have been goals tonight.
  9. Possibly. Obviously we can only compare to his previous form so easy to say he won't ever improve. Or, there is the possibility that, because he's not had much game time he was over compensating tonight and trying too hard. Perhaps if given more chances he will become better for us. Personally I can't rule that out entirely. Tonight was a positive for the stand in players.
  10. He's had a hell of a week. Bound to be thoroughly f***** off after that. Superb again.
  11. He was great. Apart from not scoring, or shooting when he should have passed perhaps I can't fault his effort. On another day he scores. On another day we win.
  12. Again I thought he did alright, better than last week actually. I see improvement. I agree he needs to react quicker, adjust to this league, but I still like his passage of play. I'm probably in the minority but I dont care. More positives than negatives for me.
  13. No doubt this will rumble on a bit and resurface with the next round of England games, but I'm done with the subject now! I've slated him sufficiently but time to move on. Hope he runs rings around Burnley tonight... with football boots not a single slipper lol
  14. Anyone see his footwork to evade the press outside court? A blacked out range rover acted as a diversion as he strolled in from the other direction Worked a treat tbf!
  15. Course I dont you sausage! Why dont you write a letter to Dean and find out?
  16. Watkins may not be wasting time but he's not scoring from these areas either. There was a reason Wes was dropping deep, probably the same reason why Watkins is dropping off too! Anyway he shouldnt be written off when most of the team were woeful during that period. Whether he can come back from that injury and get that chance is another matter but I wish him the best and hope to see him next year.
  17. Hmmm Watkins does this too I've noticed? He's been everywhere other than the box as far as I can tell lately...
  18. I said earlier I wondered what/if the club fine or punishment would be. Surely Dean will be asked about it.
  19. Personally I don't think it is "clear" just from his running that he's pissed (i mean if I was wearing crocs i would run the same). You look at the driving too and it's reasonable to assume he's had plenty of late shandies and has a very fuzzy head! What's weird (or just plain thick) is that he's not even trying to be subtle or careful it's all gung ho ffs!
  20. Absolutely. But you only have to look at certain posters previous comments for insight. "Release the shackles" springs to mind when someone referring to Hourihane's lack of game time
  21. Agree Traore definitely starts for me but we should utilise Anwar appropriately of course. Just because he scored a decent pen doesn't mean he's suddenly the second coming. Same as Conor, if he comes on and scores a worldly well sorry but the same applies. You have to do the business week in week out to be starting regularly and some players don't have that in them.
  22. With Mings the good far outweighs the bad. Simply as that. He's good for the team and where we are at the moment we arent going to better him. Its all very well saying there are better defenders but they either aren't available, would be be a gamble or would cost an insane amount of money. We have Mings, an England player. We should count ourselves fortunate.
