    Really don't see what all the fuss is about with the so called "Mings mistake" . We have an excellent defensive record this season. A bigger concern is not converting more chances into goals. That's where my focus would be at the moment. I'm not saying players shouldn't be criticised but to get hung up on one thing is silly. I would say it's better cross/goal than it was bad defending. Bottom line is I see more positives with Mings than negatives. I'm glad Hause has stepped up to challenge for a place though.

    Yes we miss far too many chances. If we converted some, Jack's assists would rocket.

    Yes absolutely. I've seen some ridiculous OTT comments. We shouldn't disregard the quality of opposition today no matter how irritating they are.

    Great on the ball. So dangerous. Defensively work in progress but he'll only get better. Not as if it was weak opposition.

    Although it's frustrating that he hasn't bagged a goal you have to remember he's up against a very tough ManU defence. He will be scoring soon. He must be shattered too. Well played Ollie we didnt deserve to lose that.

    How is trying to head the ball away poor defending? He was a bit unlucky there as Martial made a great run and Konsa wasn't on him.

    Think we'll see a reaction from Mings tonight. He won't be happy about the silly red card and will want to make amends. Let's hope he's on it tonight!

    Don't want any of this inevitable "reality check" nonsense if we lose. As long as we give it a good go what will be will be. However, no reason why we can't go there and win. Just do what we've been doing to other teams. No fear and full focus on defensive duties.

    The more success we have this season the more grief we're gonna get. We're currently pissing on everyone's bonfire, have the best player in the league and generally living rent free. Good times lol

    Talking of bets I decided to bet Villa for the league at 100/1 ew before the Palace game. The way results were going seemed like a little bit of value. 80/1 now.

    What a nice problem to have. Barkley should be back for Man U and yet we've coped brilliantly without him. Proper competition for places going on!

    Fair play to him if that's the case. I was scathing of him last season and honestly though he wasn't cut out for the Premier League but he's gone and proved me wrong and probably many others.

    Well we certainly look very organised these days so something has clicked. We have momentum and we have a great team spirit within the squad which also counts for alot. Nothing is being left on the pitch. Great to see!

    It's just lazy journalism. A 5 year old could have written something better in crayons.

    We seem much fitter at the moment so I'm hoping we can at least match them for a hard earned point. My worry is the first 15 mins as we seem vulnerable at the start of games. We can't concede early. We should be cautious and try and hit them hard on the break.

    I actually think half the time opposition players are psychologically beaten when Jack has the ball in front of them. Quite often I see them deflated and making no attempt to win the ball and just go into Jack out of pure desperation
