  1. Commentators clarified it was McGinn so he'll miss Newcastle game.
  2. He got crowded out for that first chance simple as. It wasnt a poor touch or anything just city defending well. Strange how you pick that out as a negative. But then sounds like youve been negative about him from the start. From what I have seen so far I think he's going to be a great asset this season.
  3. May I enquire if you were gifted juggling balls for Christmas?
  4. Spot on mate and those who continue to criticise after such a great performance from Mings just shows how piss poor their football judgement is. They literally couldnt analyse a game of snakes and ladders. Simply ignore.
  5. Disagree. The problem today was that we didn't pass the ball fast enough and we didn't work hard enough off the ball when in possession. For me it was purely a fitness issues and the fact Man City were in full flow. Apart from that thought the effort was fantastic.
  6. Yes that's what he said and he was bang on!
  7. Hopefully just a light muscle strain. Certainly didn't look too bad when he was walking off.
  8. There is absolutely no way Jack doesn't go to the Euros (if the tournament goes ahead that is) I'm 100% certain of it.
  9. Haha fair enough! Love Doug but how stupid can one be!
  10. Snitch?! Lol Luiz uploaded the video himself to his public Instagram, which part of this don't you understand?! He has since deleted it. As I said a few posts back, even if he was parked up it was a dumb thing to do. I have a screenshot of it!
  11. It will be from the dumb Instagram he posted the other day. He's delete it now. He may well have been stationary/parked up but his mate was filming him prancing around in the front seat holding the steering wheel and his mobile in the same hand.
  12. All the best Conor! Glad you won't have to sit on the bench any longer. Too good for that and can't have that left foot going to waste. You've created plenty of Villa memories to take away with you and some stunning strikes. I don't think you scored normal goals!
  13. In addition there is a met office amber weather warning for Manchester on Wednesday. Its going to very wet and rain usually means less goals scored.
  14. 5m max is his value I think. As I said, in the right team he can make a difference but he is limited at a certain level. Hes never one to take a game by the scruff of its neck. Usually when the going is good he will look good too.
  15. Wish him all the best if he does move on. He's got plenty to offer and will stand out in the right team. No doubt his left peg will be scoring more fantastic goals soon! He's certainly played his part in our journey back to the prem.
  16. He rarely puts a foot a foot wrong and to the casual observer goes about his football almost without being noticed. Shows how good he is! If he could add a few goals would be awesome although he tends to play deeper these days but that in itself shows the improvement as a team that we have made.
  17. Video is still there! Last thing club needs is another potentially negative news article such as this. He's gonna get roasted!
  18. Yeah I've just seen this. Why are our players so effing thick when it comes to driving?! That Insta post will get deleted surely?! Obviously someone else is with him so perhaps he's finished isolation now but the phone in his hand, not really concentrating on the road while driving quite fast (by the looks of it) is beyond stupid
  19. Meanwhile, Meatball is prancing round in his Xmas turkey costume lol

Yes agree but also think everyone can benefit from mental coaching. Training your mind should be considered no different from training your body. Simple example, how you react to losing possession of the ball. Have a quick mope or go and get it back again? It's surprising how many professional footballers will simply give up if it's not going their way. A negative attitude can be like poison and spread within youself and others around you. Some players are naturally mentally strong I think, like McGinn and Martinez where it reflects in their style of play. Some players have it naturally and others need to work on it.
  21. The people I know that have had covid have struggled with their fitness during recovery. Shortness of breath, reduced stamina etc. You would hope professional footballers being supremely fit would be able recover from it reasonably quickly but even so a two week turnaround is asking alot!
  22. The thing where he just stops in the box with the ball.... occasionally I would like to see him continue with pace and shoot. Opposition expect him to stall now so if he could mix it up a bit more it would bring some unpredictability to his game. Not saying he's becoming predictable but....actually yes I am lol.
  23. Yes agree with this, without a doubt converting more of the chances he creates is a far far bigger issue than Jack scoring a few more himself but that would be simply lovely too lol. Don't ask for much do we!
  24. I follow villa official on Insta but missed this, have you got a link?
