  1. I am so glad we are absolutely nowhere near it.
  2. Hard to say. Neither team playing badly. Hard fought competitive game. The only thing that I would be certain of is that it would not be 0-0.
  3. Am I right in thinking we didn’t register him for our conference league squad? Bit concerning given our CB situation.
  4. I’ve been thinking that, that we could simultaneously win the conference league and get CL football by securing the extra English spot, all in that one match. It’s quite a realistic scenario.
  5. I don’t know but I was more surprised that there was only 4 mins after the 90. I thought there was quite a few stoppages.
  6. Yes they do. Tickets will go on sale to members first and then a few days later for STH to buy extras. Looking at the dates they gave out at the beginning of the season, the tickets should be available for members on 4th March and for STHs on 11th March. What I will say is that I would guess that this is a fixture that may sell out to members and might not get to STH extras.
  7. Much of the infrastructure was temporary. Spectators were shuttle bussed in. There’s is even less parking near there and only one small train station. Not saying it is impossible but I’m not convinced it would be a good location for a 50k stadium or at least not significantly better than where we are now.
  8. Looking at the remaining fixtures, I’m a bit gutted that Spurs last 2 fixtures are against almost certainly already relegated Sheffield United and Burnley.
  9. We kept thinking that during the group stages and still managed to get good results in the weekend games. Finger crossed for a favourable draw.
  10. Could be quite the money spinner for Newcastle. It’ll be a case of who blinks first whether United pay up. Newcastle willing to leave him on gardening leave for 2 years is unlikely but United are going to have to pay up a decent amount. He sounds like a right slippery git, will fit right in in Manchester.
  11. Thought MOTD was fine other than putting the Chelsea/city game on early ish which was dull and had been on TNT only a few hours previously. We’re going to have to be the late showing sometimes and to be fair to Danny Murphy, he focused on our injuries and said how well the back line did given that they had to be thrown together and was featuring two left footers.
  12. Was working so could only follow the scores. Why did they have so many bookings in the last few minutes?
  13. Why do I feel weirdly optimistic about this one?
  14. Sorry if this has been suggested on the pages prior, but does anyone think the senior employee fired on the spot leaving us vulnerable in this sector is Purslow?
  15. I’m sceptical. It reads like a disgruntled employee friends with those who have left and now feeling vulnerable. It lacks detail and context and I think is telling Heck haters what they want to hear. That said the allegations are concerning but even though the author doesn’t seem the brightest, letter doesn’t cover what avenues have been explored to resolve these issues via employment law which surely would be the most profitable and efficient way for unfairly dismissed employees. Can’t make up my mind whether it is a brave whistle blower or poison pen letter.
  16. It’s been 6 months but I’d love to see him at VP before the season is out.
  17. Mings got injured at St James Park, Pau at the Gtech Stadium, Konsa at Bramall Lane, Digne at Old Trafford, Moreno at Anfield, Ramsey at an u21 tournament. Buendia and Carlos were at Bodymoor but 6 months apart. I think it’s only Kamara that got injured at VP out of our current list.
  18. We’ve also not registered Chambers in the Conference League squad which could now be a questionable decision.
