  1. This is probably a joke because nobody is that dumb. But then again, Craig Gardner is that dumb.
  2. Clearly nothing, considering he splashed £100m on that Joe Gresford fella.
  3. I couldn't care less what Juve fan's opinion of him is. Let's be honest, average fans are idiots when it comes to accurately judging a player's quality. Also Juve fans are similar to Real Madrid fans when it comes to the way they talk about their players. They're just about the worst, most entitled set of glory hunting fans going. They probably hate him because he isn't Pirlo. I'm sure he'd do very well here. And if he's anything less than extraordinary right of the bat, I'll give him at least 3 kicks of the ball before making any judgment.
  4. A great loan signing. Her experience will be invaluable in helping us get a real foothold in the league. We don't look relegation threatened this season as it stands, so the only concern is doing whatever needs to be done to finish as high as possible to be an attractive destination for the sorts of player that will raise our profile. It's great to see big, positive moves are being made all across the board at this club right now. I hope it bears fruit sooner rather than later.
  5. I feel the need to say that every time I read the word "Greal-hiss", I throw up in my mouth a little.
  6. This is a good point. Although, while it may have been the case originally, Grealish leaving meant Buendia was the one player around who had the qualities to plug that gap. We put way too much pressure on him to begin with that we never should've put on him at all. I'm glad to see he's thriving now. Long may it continue.
  7. He probably won't see it this way, but he's actually lucky we have so much in terms of attacking options meaning there's no rush to get him back before he's ready. That will do him the world of good going forward. He still has a place in this team, and I'm still excited to see what he can do for us.
  8. Seems a bit harsh. What's Vlahovic ever done to them?
  9. There weren't many who bought into the hype in the first place. With each passing day I'm more convinced his entire plan was to earn as much money for us as humanly possible and that's it. His mission is complete now, so he can rest on his laurels. That's the only logical explanation.
  10. This might be the worst analogy I've ever seen. Rolexes are hilariously overpriced.
  11. How does a guy so small keep winning headers? It defies logic, just like most of the things this little legend keeps pulling off. Never doubted him for a moment.
  12. That's some versatility. To sign a player good enough to improve our starting XI but also capable of providing cover in so many areas of the pitch would be a massive boon. This is precisely the sort of player any team needs for true depth.
  13. How many rolls of sellotape does that buy you?
  14. Personally I don't mind Wolves or WBA, but I'd rather we never crossed paths with SHA ever again. They're a bunch of thugs, it's hardly a game of football and the whole ordeal is just a chore at this point. There's also no rivalry, because rivalries imply competitiveness. I'm not saying I want them to go under; I just don't care either way.
  15. It's just a different way of saying the same thing. Logically, even A* doesn't make any sense.
  16. Just think of S as A*. It's basically the same principal. Like many, I tuned out after seeing Emi in B class. In what universe?
  17. If anything, Swindon fans considered his final ball a weak point.
  18. We should just pin this topic.
  19. Watching people play highly competitive games with high skill ceilings to an elite level is really no different to watching football on TV. If you've ever played those games you can appreciate the level of skill needed to play them well, just like any sport. Unboxing videos remain a mystery though.
  20. We should loan them Targett with the specific instruction to score own goals at the most inopportune moments possible. Include an option to recall if he ends up doing well.
  21. We should stay away from Tarkowski. Burnley need all the help they can get to relegate Newcastle. Er, I mean to survive.
  22. I know this isn't in any way relevant, but their stadium is called the Tony Macaroni Arena and that made me chuckle.
  23. Frankly, Withe in Rotterdam is the only correct answer. It's arguably the single greatest moment in the club's entire history. I'd take Morley on that day too. If they were off the table though, AEG in the play-off final.
  24. Never doubted him for a moment. He will only improve, and the very idea of seeing him link up with Coutinho... We're very lucky.
  25. It's so sad. The "9 minutes of heaven" wouldn't look out of place here.
