I wouldn't say he's a reject. He's well thought of at Real Madrid as a rotation option, just not quite good enough to secure a starting position. He'd be one hell of a signing of we pulled it off.

Olsen is not great, but he's nowhere near the worst keeper I've seen. Considering he's playing backup to officially the best keeper in the world, he's not as bad as he's being made out to be. That said, our backup has to be good enough to play Emery's style competently so as not to unsettle the defence, and for that reason alone he should be replaced unfortunately.

I saw a lot of Newcastle fans before the game talking about how we don't do our research before giving opinions on them, but they do the exact same thing. As for Mings, anyone who actually "did their research" rather than jumping on a bandwagon would know he's far, far better than he's perceived to be. All fans should agree to stop trying to seriously analyse a club they pay no attention to, because you're just seeing yourself up for embarrassment that way.
