    I’m torn because on one hand, I’d love to go see so many different historical events. But on the other hand, I could go back in time and tell my old man to invest heavily in Apple or Amazon right before they took off.

    There actually is a good amount of evidence that Jesus existed as a human. Anyone who accepts that Socrates was a real human should also accept that Jesus was. The miracles, son of God, and resurrection, on the other hand, depend on faith.

    Cazoo are already doing this, to an extent. Their shirt sponsor is white on the home (matches the shorts), claret on the away (matches the crest), and yellow on the third (matches the crest). If you go on their website, their logo is orange. Sponsors will never willingly opt to be on the back of a shirt without paying significantly less money. It’s always going to be much less exposure, unless players start doing post match interviews with their arse to the camera.

    They used money to illegally affect the outcome of matches, and essentially the league. So I’m not so sure it’s as far away from match fixing as you’re thinking

    Thought the same thing. Emi set Kamara up for failure. They had three players hovering 5 yards away from each of our three defensive outlets when Emi passed it. I know it’s not what Emery wants, but Emi should’ve punted that one to midfield. The short passes weren’t there in that particular instance. Once Kamara got the ball, he had no options.

    You’re right, they aren’t close to what we were. But still, they stayed up by 4 points with 39 last season. Finished 16th, but were closer to the drop than our 14th place position (45 points). might not be a certainty like we were, but this season isn’t an anomaly.

    I follow Minnesota United pretty closely as my MLS team. It’s great to see how the local community has adopted them and the sport. Obviously the football quality is nowhere near Villa, and Villa mean way more to me than Minnesota United, but i find it fun. I can actually attend in person and they play through the summer while English football is on holiday.

    It’s growing on me. Wish it wasn’t a circle, but don’t know if there really was any alternative. Loads better than the crap one it’s replacing.

    Came across this again tonight, and thought I’d share. Truly the perfect response for his return. It was the only match I’ve ever seen at Villa Park, and this video still gives me chills.

    My favorite quote about our club is “they say you don’t choose Aston Villa, it chooses you.” I don’t even really know how to describe it, but I get it. I feel like Villa chose me.

    My bucket list item was getting to VP. I hesitate to say real Villa fans “have to” get there, because many may not have the means to do so. I will say that if you have the opportunity and financial ability to get to Villa Park, I highly, highly recommend doing so. It’s made my support of Villa feel so much more real.

    Gophers ended 9-4 and beat wisconsin (they don’t deserve to bs capitalized) for Paul Bunyan’s Axe. I’ll take it, although I had higher hopes for the year.

    This is what it comes to for me. They cared, we couldn’t be bothered. I don’t know if it’s true, but if Emi actually walked to the bench with tea and his kit over his arm, that tells you everything you need to know about Villa’s attitude for today’s match.
