    We weren't fighting for CL back then and the players we have sold were nowhere near as highly thought of as Carney was at the time. Also, the players we have sold are glorified loan deals.

    He would have definitely started a lot of games here if he signed the contract. The club were terrified of him becoming a star and then leaving on a free so limited his game time to prevent this and put pressure on him to sign. He may still make it but he's massively decreased his chances by signing for Chelsea. At least the club can use this as evidence to other kids that might think of doing the same thing in the future.

    You almost have to laugh at this point. The news anchor covering this was praising the crowd literally 10 seconds before the camera pans to someone on a stretcher. It would be funny if people weren't dying from this shit. You can go back an hour or so and see it yourself.

    It's a huge letdown. I thought it was decent when I played through it but as soon as I swapped to Cyberpunk I realised that it was levels below other AAA games.

    Some proper weirdos on here. Fawn after him throughout his Villa career, follow live footage of him going to training when he was about to leave in the mishope of him staying, then all of a sudden he is this unprofessional wasteman as soon as he leaves. Really, really weird. I clapped him when he returned to VP and I will for future games unless he disrespects the club in some way.
