  1. Oh well we gave it a great try , undone by keeper error but the game plan was decent enough. Hard to pick MOTM, Doug , Kamara , Young and chambers all had decent games. Bailey made a difference, Watkins......mmmmm , difficult one tbh.
  2. Superb from us, sound game plan, Mcquire and Mctom on yellows, silenced the crowd and frustrating their players.
  3. We need to know if Olsen can do the job if (please no) Martinez gets injured. It would be irresponsible to try him in the league in the position we are in ATM, the cup is the best opportunity. If he can't cut it then we need a stand in keeper brought in ASAP. We will go through on penalties and Olsen will be the hero
  4. McGinn will play behind the front 2, same position he has for Scotland and its suits him. We have a squad, we need to use it. Need to concentrate from the first minute and start the game quickly , get amongst them and don't let them settle. Issue will be if we start to hit it long and turn possession over to quickly, this is McGinn's responsibility.
  5. Given their going a long way in the competition Emi is likely to need a rest when he comes back, should we blood another keeper now?
  6. It can be a simple as watching the game when your not involved in play, especially as a striker, making those runs, giving options to players who are on the ball even when your the other end of the pitch.
  7. Ukrainians should dress in Russian uniforms and order them to retreat.
  8. Daily Express....... "Desperate Spain begs EU to change post-Brexit rules and allow UK holidaymakers to stay" https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1694229/spain-travel-brexit-rules-british-holidaymakers-eu-law
  9. The whole film is anti war for me, it shows how quickly the elation of going to war disintegrates. Can imagine a few Russians going through very similar situations ATM..
  10. Your right, I should have said increased risk. Electrical Safety First "Although electricity makes gardening much easier, wet conditions and contact with the ground means that the risk of injury or death from electric shock is much greater than the risk from using electrical equipment indoors." https://www.electricalsafetyfirst.org.uk/guidance/safety-around-the-home/garden-safety/
  11. Chances are it's going to be fault on the outside cable or circuits. I'm assuming it's an RCD that's tripping ( it will have a test button on it as well as a switch) TBH if its outside and it has a fault on it you have to be very careful as an electric shock outside can and does kill. Can't you leave the circuit off and run an extension into the conservatory as a temp measure? After that your best to try and physically find the problem while there's no power on the circuit , switch the breaker off and tape over the switch to prevent anyone accidentally turning it on. My guess is the cable outside will have a fault on it, a break , crushed, water ingress. This cable should be armoured cable.... Be careful, make sure it's isolated before you start poking around.
  12. Are you sure it's just the conservatory that's powered from that MCB? Do you lose power to anything else when the breaker is off? Turn all the sockets off downstairs and see if the breaker stays in, have you got underfloor heating or an outdoor socket ?
  13. Is it an RCD or an MCB that's tripping? If it's the MCB then it's down to much current being used which if all you have is lamp and an Alexa on the circuit then it seems unlikely it would be either of those unless they have a fault. Unplug one of them and see if the fault reoccurs, if it does then unplug the other.

    Energy Bills

I don't think they will de couple electricity from gas. We can't rely on wind and solar as a secure form of generating electricity. We have to have the capacity to generate all our electricity from gas and someone has to cover the capital outlay for the gas turbines, hence the link.

If you watch the Cutler interview on YouTube he explains how he coached Martinez, they look at the opposition and he gives a great insight into how it works , not just the goalkeepers. https://youtu.be/ePaNACr-IEU

Well he may have introduced the tech to the club but that maybe just something he has seen somewhere else and copied. Our corners, throw ins and free kicks have been poor for season after season. I'm guessing most of McPhees work is done away from the players looking at how our opponents go about setting walls up and their defensive positions. It's getting this over to our coaches and players that's the hard bit, he needs their ears and their valuable time.

If it wasn't for Gerrard freaking it may not have been solved. There's only a few variables and distance to wall is one of them.
  18. Jesus that was a heavy 3 hours , brutal but you can see it was as close to real as you could possibly get. Everyone should be made to watch it. 9/10
  19. See your point but the gamble was taken when we employed Gerrard, he was a massive risk that we should not have taken. Thank God the owner stepped in when he did and pushed Gerrard out, the damage he could have done with more time (selling Ming's, Ollie and upsetting others,) and possibly a relegation battle is unthinkable. Newcastle took a similar gamble with Howe ( he was more proven than Gerrard ) and that appears to have paid off but we have a long way to go and I'm happier with Emery and where we are than 3rd with Howe.

The Recon group need a new project
  21. Flying pigs United's mine, his rants so funny , especially when he goes off camera to smash something.
  22. It's better for him he doesn't go to the world cup, he will learn nothing there and risks being blamed for England's inevitable failure. Stay at Bodymore heath and let's push for top 8 this season. UTV
  23. Reckon we will see a few changes for this game from Sundays, Archers or Ings to start. I think we will beat them, 2-1.UTV
