  1. Oh that's alright then, let's wait and see what we are given for the £1bn we pay in. Our local news is still in standard definition, even YouTubers can film in 4k, it's a huge joke on us all ( Midlands based viewers) The fact we have no media presence takes so much away from the Midlands, we are not even in the debate when it comes to the North and South divide. It's a disgrace, a travesty that any decent mayor should be able to sort out sharpish, Street is hopeless.
  2. Yep, we are getting Master Chef for the £1billion the Midlands gives in license fees.
  3. It's not right , their killing our country. They have no agenda for change or improvement, just one to keep the status quo that allows their sons, daughters, uncles and aunts the opportunity of a decent career without earning the right.
  4. It's led by a Tory who's dictating it's agenda, hence Lineker getting reprimanded while government supporters get a free hand to say what they like.
  5. What are these benefits then? All I see is a huge corporation thats full of workers who were born with silver spoons stuck up their arses and is led by someone who's job interview started with him filling in a loan application form for his future boss. You can add Farage been brought out on question time ( visits the Midlands how many times) to push Brexit at every opportunity as well, all for £14 a month . The whole things been turned into an utter farce. We all have a chance to show them all enough is enough, cancel you licence and then your DD. If Gary Lineker has the balls to say enough is enough then what's your excuse?
  6. I can't see the benefit of it , it's not impartial, it's doesn't represent the Midlands in any way, other than taking money of us. I can't access 90% of its productions without paying on Amazon Prime, it's not fit for purpose .
  7. My TV licence DD has just been cancelled, fucX em.
  8. No u ain't, but that's populist politics for u. What I can't believe is the lack of accountability when it come to Boris , £800k and the appointment of the head of the BBC, its unbelievable, are we all idiots?
  9. We have been here before , there was a conscious effort to suppress Birmingham This article from is from 2015, it's a big eye opener to Birminghams past. "Birmingham finally bouncing back after 70 years says Centre for Cities City is now finally overturning a deliberate policy to stifle economic growth lasting seven decades as influential thinktank reveals Birmingham is finally becoming a boom town again" https://www.business-live.co.uk/economic-development/birmingham-finally-bouncing-back-after-8772639 As for countries that have rebalanced wealth , see my post on Germany after the reunification, there is less inbalance economicaly between East and West Germany than there is between the South East and the rest of the UK, they have managed that over 30 years, wish we had their politicians......
  10. His tackle on Kamara was clumsy, his tackle on Chambers was horrendous, he should have had a straight red for it and in light of him only now serving a 1 match ban because of the red I think it was planned.

    Project B6

Throw a few beach balls into the stands, have an area at Villa Park where our fans who travel away are situated close to each other , once one area starts singing its infectious. Speed the bar service up before kick off and at half time.
  12. Yea they did, no vision, cheap energy would solve so many problems. 2 tides every 24 hours with some of the highest tidal ranges in the world around our coasts. Building batteries in the UK would be a no brainer once tidal power is harnessed.
  13. There's one train line that runs from Birmingham to London at the moment, freeing that up is hardly game changing.(it will make a difference but its not good value for money spent) The money would have been better spent improving local transport links. Interesting article on the North South divide. "Want to properly plug the UK’s north-south divide? Look to Germany Larry Elliott"
  14. The argument it will free up local trains is also misleading, it will free up lines on the London bound trains from smaller towns , benefitting....London. The money would have been better spent on a local network of trains in the big cities, as London have shown with their underground, cross rail and other huge infrastructure projects benefitting them. The next huge project will be sea defenses for London which at the present rate will need doing to prevent the whole money magnet going under when the tide and wind are pushing in the right or wrong direction.
  15. Not given, let's say I have a taxi licence or Uber drivers status and lend my.car and licence to Mr" not on the books " I still get paid and just give them a cut out if it. I'm 90% sure I have used Ubers who's drivers are very fresh to the country.
  16. Isnt there a strong chance their driving with someone else's license? The underground market for illegal workers/ modern day slavery is based on workers who aren't supposed to be here but are. They are then open to abuse with nowhere to go, Horrendous.
  17. My guess is most of them will have been arrested for appearing in this video.
  18. As for increase tell them you have a mobile 5g router and you will use that if they don't drop the rise. I did and they dropped the complete rise. For clarity I pay £24 a month for 250Mbs, no phone and no TV. Never use their email addresses either , it's a trap, use Gmail.
  19. I wonder if Richard Sharp got the top bbc job before he got Boris his loan?
  20. It's very quiet today then, it is here
  21. Aaron has a higher work rate than Chuk who seems a bit casual at times.
