  1. can we just play 45 minute games next season, we seem better at those
  2. final is in 2 1/2 hours. 2 other games kick off on the hour before then
  3. Can't buy tickets for anything other than Watford at the moment
  4. John Heard 72 (The Dad from Home Alone) found dead in a hotel room, Cause unknown but apparently had some sort of minor back surgery on Wednesday and was at the hotel to recover
  5. Keep refreshing "Other Football" but none of our turds appear to be floating that way yet. Our squad is going to be bigger than Chelsea/Man City
  6. I seem to spend far too much time on messynessychic.com Tis a little bit Wes Anderson hipster / kitsch but some interesting stuff to read & look at on there if you like that sort of thing
  7. I think he would be a reasonable enough option as cover. He has looked good but against some crap teams. Our players should stand out against conference north/league 1 opposition, I am far more concerned about the others on the pitch that didn't look good than him. Lets face it, Baker is going to get injured (A lot) Terry probably hasn't got the legs to play all 46 games so if we get 10-15 starts out of him and a dozen sub appearances he would seem good value if we are going to pay him 10-20,000 per week. If giving him upto a million quid helps get us up it would be far from the worst million we have spent
  8. Terry, Gabby & Whelan are a combined 99 years of age...
  9. He'll be wanting to move by the end of the transfer window at this rate. 2 games played against shrewsbury & walsall, Surrounded by numpties who just happen to be wearing the same shirt. 0 wins & 1 goal from a penalty.
  10. might buy one just to use as an ornament, it's a nice looking thing if nothing else
  11. When this is inevitably remastered the ludovico technique scene will be this followed by a montage of our games
  12. I'm guessing these youtube broadcasts are a test run for the overseas live streaming being introduced this season. 1 fixed camera & live commentary. Not sure the official club website would be up to streaming it in this quality as it often struggles to cope with the old bbc radio feed but if this is the standard of things to come it is impressive enough so far and would be well worth the £110 (regional equivalent) for the whole season Have skimmed though the others after the games but was at telford & shrewsbury so not had chance to watch one live until tonight
  13. Is that our new 'plan b' for when the passing it sideways & backwards before losing the ball fails to produce anything
  14. I imagine he will get quite angry once the season actually starts, Don't think anyone is that bothered in pre-season. Get fitter, get to know any new players & don't get injured are the main priorities but once the season starts i would think Terry will resemble Roy Keane at times
  15. Terry must wonder how the hell some/most/all of our players are paid to play football for a living
  16. Amavi apears to be playing right midfield tonight, surely can't do too much damage there
  17. Seems like everyone is at it Atari Box coming soon(ish) Our objective is to create a new product that stays true to our heritage while appealing to both old and new fans of Atari. Inspired by classic Atari design elements (such as the iconic use of wood, ribbed lines, and raised back); we are creating a smooth design, with ribs that flow seamlessly all around the body of the product, a front panel that can be either wood or glass, a front facing logo, indicator lights that glow through the material, and an array of new ports (HDMI, 4xUSB, SD). We intend to release two editions: a wood edition, and a black/red edition. Full story & a few more pics : http://mailchi.mp/fe72ea5be6f5/first-look-ataribox-design
  18. If you had any sort of paddock club/hospitality ticket they start at £1000 for Sundays
  19. Chips was truly terrible but i quite like Michael Peña and there are a couple of laughs in there if you can stick with it. If something has Dax Shepards name on it you generally know it isn't going to be good
  20. Not really, The sunday tickets are what cost the money, they basically give you the rest of the weekend for a nominal amount General admission Sunday 205 - Weekend 229 Stowe Grandstand Sunday 275 - Weekend 329 Woodcote/Luffield Sunday 329 - Weekend 359 Becketts Sunday 439 - Weekend 469 Pit straight Sunday 439-549 - Weekend 469 - 659 Same with the parking. £50 for Sunday or £66 for the weekend on the same carpark If you just wanted to go on Friday or Saturday though to watch the practice/qualifying then you do not get the same cheap rate. Friday general admission is £66, Saturday is £88 you can get official packages to the malaysian GP including flights from the uk, 5 nights in 5 star hotel, transfer to & from the track on fri/sat/sun and final corner/pit straight tickets for under a grand
  21. There is no way it costs more than 20 million to put on, 140,000 + people paying £300 or so per ticket is 42 million, (basic general admission entry with no seat is £230) seats generally range from 330 for nosebleeds at some of the more boring corners to 650 on the pit straight & the seats are usually 90%+ sold out This is before any advertising/commercial deals and takings from food/drink/merchandise/selling space to vendors etc+ another £45 quid to gain entry to the concerts they have on the grounds on Thursday evenings & £50 per car parking for the sunday alone. If they are not rolling around in a giant vault of cash like scrooge mcduck they are doing something very wrong, Perhaps Dianne Abbot is doing the accounts for them
  22. gate receipts alone for silverstone GP are over £40 million, This is without all the VIP money & food/drink/merchandise and other crap. They are complaining that they can not afford to pay £15-20 million to put the race on. They are either greedy, stupid or both.
  23. I will treat it the same as every time they change cast, watch the first couple and see if it's any good. I don't really like capaldi (although he grew on me a little over his time as the dr) and may not have bothered last time if it hadn't been for Jenna Coleman carrying on her role. New female doctor with new companion at the same time is a big jump though, might have been better if they still had someone like Karen Gillan & Arthur Darvill tagging along to ease into things.
