Yep, stoppage was fine, he may well have been gassed & fatigued but he was also barely able to stand, couldn't defend himself and was taking heavy punches. A more experienced boxer may have gone down/taken a knee to try and recover @The_Rev Amir Khan has also expressed an interest this week and seeing as he hasn't had much luck finding an actual boxer to fight for most of the past 3 years (only 2 fights) why not give a non-boxer a shot. Entertaining enough fight, McGregor out of his depth but put up a decent show. He struggled with mayweather getting in close all the time and having to stop when in the clinch. McGregors stamina has always been a bit suspect and he tends to get gassed in round 2/3 in UFC so would laways be an issue against someone who has made a living doing 12 rounders and he was out on his feet in the 9th Ah well, Wouldn't be surprised if Mcgregor ends up in the ring again at some point as there is potentially more money in boxing than UFC

Well the undercard has only just finished anyway so not much they could do about that regardless of the ppv issues. It's like an eddie hearn show with their "hey lets have an undercard of 6 10/12 round fights" and then wonder why it runs an hour or two late and there are no trains to get you back home afterwards

It was a bit of a tween drama but passed an hour and a half i guess. If you are a fan of the source you will probably hate it but if you have no idea and want to watch a film with an intriguing premise that ends up being entertaining enough for the most part but ends up trying to do too much in too little time and doesn't really explain anything then you might enjoy it

guess this is why so many people are talking about it & watching it. Even if you think it is a complete farce and that mayweather will win veery round without being hit once there is still that element of chance. The one unknown i guess is that Mayweather is now 40 & hasn't fought for 2 years. Unlike some boxers he hasn't really been involven in lots of brutal wars but even so everyone has their time when age just catches up with you. The fight is also at 154lbs rather than 147 which mayweather has generally fought at, This seems to be a more natural weight for mcgregor and he looks far less gaunt/drawn at the weigh-in than he does for many of his ufc fights and i would epect him to be around 170 tonight Not the best of starts for the Mayweaher camp with his star protege Gervonta Davis failing to make weight for his fight on the undercard and being stripped of his title, maybe he could take some tips from mcgregor

I guess he is maybe thinking that Bristol will come out strong. Big game on TV. Play 5 at the back and soak up whatever they have whilst trying to counter. The bench has some good attacking options on to change things round shortly into the 2nd half. Maybe not the best way to go about things but will probably work. Gabby, Hogan & Adomah/Lansbury could make a huge difference coming on for 30 mins or easy enough to change to something more attacking with pulling Samba off early if things aren't going to plan

even if we were forced to buy him for 3 million at the end of the loan it still seems like a good deal, A positive season and he would be back to being worth the 10+ west ham paid for him 6 months ago. if you think that 90% of athletes aren't doing / taking something that is either banned, or will be banned in future you are deluded & the whole TUE rule just makes a complete mockery of any rules they have in place anyway. Have a pollen allergy, that's ok take some triamcinolone, anyone else takes it they are banned. Have asthma, take some sambutamol, anyone else takes it they are banned. Have a heart condition, sure take some meldonium for years, anyone else takes it they are banned Say you are dehydrated because you had to cut too much weight, that's ok have a load of stuff injected directly into you through IV the day before a fight. The fact that this can also be used to mask other illegal substances doesn't matter. some of the worls top athletes are apparently some of the most decrepid human beings alive, they all seem to be Asthmatics with severe allergies & heart conditions... either test everyone every single day or accept that everyones at it and let them get one with it

Not sure, People are talking about the draw being in China at 4.15 far more than they would be if it was just the regular draw. Now sure people are whining but Carabao has been mentioned far more than it it ever would have by getting a couple of fat ex players pulling balls out of a bowl at 10 o clock at night in southampton, stoke or newcastle. The only weird thing i guess is that Carabao isn't even a chinese brand, It is from Thialand and it's about a 5 hour flight from Bangkok to Beijing so not like it is right next door

I have no idea why they just don't let people take whatever they want, No sport is clean, Athletes, Tennis players, footballers, Boxers, cyclists UFC, baseball & American football players are all on drugs or supplements of some sort that will eventually be banned. Stop wasting time trying to catch the odd one here and there and punishing them weeks/months/years after the fact and either just let people get on with it or go completely the other way and test every single person every single day of the year.

If you just paid for the one game maybe but if you have paid £6 for the 7 games in August then what would you get back, 9p for this missing 10 minutes?
