  1. Ground holds 5,000(ish) Attandance for the game there last year was a little under 3000 but that was on a Saturday so a midweek game will attract less. It will be an 11 of some sort as we also have a game against Kidderminster at exactly the same time. Squad for last year was : Gollini, Suliman, Elphick, Baker, Cissokho, Gana, Westwood, Green, Ayew, Sinclair, Gestede Subs: Mason, Hepburn-Murphy, McKirdy, Cowans, Johannsen (gk). We also had a game at worcester the same day although this was later on in the day. The only possible reason for a big turnout is if the team is announced early and it ends up being Terrys debut, Big players can attract big attendances at Telford, Nearly 7,000 turned up to watch wolves reserves vs liverpool a few years back as gerrard was playing after recovering from injury (safety certificate has since reduced the capacity)
  2. Wonder how much he would have played last year if he hadn't picked up an injury early on. He started the first 4 games as part of a 4 at the back but then got an injury that kept him out for a month or so. By the time he was fit enough again they had switched to 3 at the back and there wasn't really much opportunity for him after that
  3. If Hart can't get a guaranteed start at a premier league team we may well be his best option. We will be on TV more than most of the prem teams so not like he wouldn't get any sort of exposure. Loan for a season with the option to buy if we go up? Newcastle supposedly interested in him, If he goes there i doubt Krul would be happy on the bench so he could then be someone to look at
  4. Think the below image sums him up pretty well. In less than 20 years John Terry (Chelsea) has won nearly as much as we have won in 140+ years.
  5. He went from absolutely shite that couldn't catch a simple ball to pretty reliable for the most part in the space of a few months with an ever changing defence/midfield in front of him. I have gone from never wanting to see him again after a few weeks with us to struggling to think of anyone better at this sort of money that would want to play in the championship. Who are these other keeps that people think are miles better that would want to play here?
  6. * Just to clarify - Not my arse
  7. I can see him starting at least 30 games bar any injuries. I would imagine that part of him coming was being told he could play as many games as he wants/is able to and he really didn't look happy sat on his arse for most of last season. You know that we are going to draw Chelsea in both cups now...
  8. already edited , keybard on this laptop is knackered & prone to missing letters & spaces.
  9. As if anyone would believe Gabby knows what an apostrophe is
  10. not really sure it needed this along with the announcement
  11. recon sponsor on rear of shirt under the number looks a bit odd. If it is staying i hope they change the font from the same as the players names
  12. Wouldn't be surprised but a grid penalty means nothing to Hamilton. Bar any malfunction/breakdown/accident he would finish on the podium every week even if he started last as the Mercedes is simply too fast. If they were not constantly saving fuel/tyres they would lap every single car bar the ferraris in every race, most of them multiple times
  13. Seems like it's done. Just waiting for it to be July. Prem teams interested but doesn't want to play against Chelsea. Overseas teams interested but doesn't want to move. Now if we could fulfil a lifelong ambition and sign a goalkeeper called Jesus i would be happy
  14. Statement from FIA : 'Following the recent incident at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in which Sebastian Vettel was involved in a collision with Lewis Hamilton, on Monday 3rd July, the FIA will further examine the causes of the incident in order to evaluate whether further action is necessary,' an FIA spokesperson said. 'A statement regarding the outcome of this process will be made available before the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix.' Expect him to be banned for Austria
  15. All change at Telford today, Chairman gone, quickly followed out of the door by management duo Rob Smith & Larry Chambers. Rob Edwards (Ex-Wolves) appointed as new manager amidst takeover/investment talk or maybe they are finally just giving up and turning into Wolves reserves/feeder team. U21's play their games there and multiple young players loaned in every year. *Edit Nothing official yet and seems unlikely to be any official change in ownership but seems to be lots of noise about fosun/wolves chucking a load of money at Telford to cover the cost of the players that will be joining them on loan or being developed there with use of wolves training facilities/physios in order to try and get around some of the FFP rules
  16. The US Snes/Famicom is a horrible looking thing but the games ran far better than the PAL versions. Smooth 60hz fullscreen games rather than the bordered/letterboxed 50hz crap you got over here. If you get the US roms on the PAL console it will be fine. Don't forget that if you are buying one, like many nintendo products now they do not actually come with a plug/power supply so you may wish to buy one although you can power it via a usb (or just use a phone usb charger)
  17. It's about as close to Shenmue as you can get until Shenmue 3 is released in 2037
  18. Yup, most snes games are tiny, very few even get anywhere near the old maximun 4mb (a photo taken on your phone is bigger). You could fit every single game on a 1gb sd card comfortably. No idea why they wouldn't sell these & the nes version all year round, they must cost pennies to make and they would make millions if people could actually buy them. They are sold out everywhere because people saw the nes version selling for 300-400 last year & nobody taking pre orders yesterday seemed to be capping the amount you could buy. You will see plenty of ebay/facebook posts like this again because people were able to pre order 50 without paying a penny until they are actually released.
  19. No mention of Xia / Recon in his sharticle and he is still on TS spouting crap. He was the one stating that Xia didn't have any money and he wouldn't be buying Villa before the takeover and seems to have held a grudge since then
  20. Would have been interesting to see what the penalty would have been if he had given Lewis a puncture or caused some damage to his car, Think the only option would have been to black flag him but the stop-go (effectively a 30 second penalty) and 3 points on his licence seems fair enough as no damage was caused. Looked like Arrivabene was telling him not to say anything about it & calm down when he got out of the car during the red flag stoppage. He now has 9 points, 12 points = 1 race ban but he will be back down to 7 points after the next race in Austria so unlikely to be too much of a hindrance to him for the rest of the season
  21. On the safety car a couple of minutes earlier Hamilton had been warned that he was very close to overtaking the SC before the line. Think he was just trying to let the SC get clear before accelerating out of the corner and Seb wasn't paying attention to Hamilton crawling along
  22. Really enjoyed GLOW. It's camp, it's cheesy but it's a 5 hour show about camp & cheesy ladies wrestling in the 80's so kinda to be expected. If you watch it & enjoy it then i would recommend also watching the documentary on the real ladies of glow wrestling to see how close to reality the TV show actually is. (GLOW : The story of the gorgeous ladies of wrestling, also on netflix) Oh & you'll also get to see Alison Brie & rather surprisingly Kate Nash with no top on for a while.
  23. i would imagine that 90% of the people attending glastonbury would have voted labour / green / lib dem anyway so not like he isn't preaching to the converted
  24. Seems to be a few reports that a chunk of the Grenfell flats were being sub-let so the people actually living in them were not the legal tennants. Quite how this is going to work with people being rehoused in some nice new flats seems to be uncertain. If the flat is granted to the legal tennant rather than the resident at the time of the fire i would imagine that they would again sub-let the property but this time they have a rather nice property to let for a much higher rate. What would then happen to the now homeless survivors is anyones guess
