  1. I actually had a Gamma Ray on the train in the end as it was colder. About to try the other 2 now
  2. Just picked these 2 up for my train journey home.
  3. I rarely dream (well at least I rarely remember them) so never had an opportunity to post here, but my Mrs regularly has a dream where someone attempts to take our little girl. She's had this dream since before we actually knew it was a girl and she's over 4 months old now. It's usually if she falls asleep on the sofa or just before she is due up in the morning. She's very vocal while having the dream. I probably should be a bit more sympathetic but a few times recently. I've been woken up with her proper laying into her pillows, it's quite amusing to watch. Well until the day she misses the pillow and gives me a big right hook.
  4. I've been at Bath Sports Awards tonight. Scott Sinclair was nominated for an award. I didn't see him, although I expect he wasn't there, he didn't often show up. More disappointed I didn't get to see Helen Flanagan though.
  5. Currently at Rotterdam station on way to Amsterdam for stag do. Probably won't be posting on here for next few days/weeks/ever.

    Drugs

One of my best mates had that back thing going on one night in Fabric. The weird thing was, as far as I know he had no Ket. He'd had a line or 2 of coke but nothing else. The coke was fine as well. Also helped someone up a slope at Glastonbury one year doing the same, but he was certainly on Ket and would never have got where he wanted without help.
  7. That's the thing, a percentage of police around the world, get that riot gear on seem to become the aggressors when sometimes it simply isn't necessary. I presume a lot of these police have been drafted in from elsewhere like Madrid, where they've been known to be heavy handed with English fans club and country. Although I've had the same in Barcelona, watching and a England game. Queuing at metro after the game. Someone tried to jump the barrier. I'm not even sure it was an England fan. The police piled in not caring who was there swinging their batons. I took a whack because I stepped in front of a couple of young children who were in the firing line. Some police drafted were probably acting like they were fighting for Spain while others were doing their jobs.
  8. Definitely a quiet one for me, just earning a few brownie points with the Mrs and going to look at a few potential wedding venues. Next week however is a stag do in Amsterdam.

    Uber

Slightly off on a tangent but my street doesn't exist on google maps (think the house is 6/7 years old) My Mrs likes to sell unwanted things on Facebook. Without fail, while having told the buyers to not to use google maps and to check any sat nav is taking you to the right place, none listen and all end up 5 miles away.
  10. First all dayer in quite a while tomorrow. A good tester on how I'll do on a stag do in 3 weeks. Off to watch Bath City v Wealdstone
  11. My brother uses my account, I've used it a bit less recently, resulting in his awful taste in music completely ruining my recommendations.
  12. Been at a beer and sausage festival, conveniently a few hundred metres from my house. Had a nice amount to drink but not over done it, as have got a big one in a couple of weeks. This being my favourite.
  13. I took the job that I was offered earlier in the thread, I managed to negotiate on the salary. Which in itself will increase the pressure on me as they said they are expecting more from me now than what originally the role was for. Which isn't an issue as it's mostly what I was expecting to do anyway. Not 100% sold on this role and it's going to have its issues from the start but it should be good to have on my CV and can look again in a year if I need to. 1 week left to go in my current place. I have a huge amount that I am meant to do before I leave. Monday I am going to have to say it can't be done. I am going to have to work extra as it is, the bonus being I will get the money as it won't be possible to get the time back.
  14. It very rarely works this way round but not long finished work. I was 17-20mins away train was in 14 mins, next one in an hour. Train got delayed 4 mins and I'm on!
  15. My Mrs has barely let me near her since giving birth, in part because of recovering from C section but also down to women being extremely fertile after giving birth. Unfortunately, I think I read a post about how much you have started cumming and mentioned about pulling out. Probably not the best form of contraception. I guess your both thinking the same this time with regards to what your going to do this time though? My Mrs went on the pill last week so, as 7 days will have passed, this weekend will be a good one for me.
  16. For anyone paying full price. If you went to Uni have a look if you can get an NUS card as it's quite often possible as an alumni. It is worth it for all the other discounts you can get to but the £4.99 for Spotify is where I save most money.
  17. Reading Festival 1998, I saw what must have been close to a world record. The portaloo had a sink type bit to it with absolutely huge log. I have no idea how that person managed it, whether it was done in there or moved there afterwards either way looked a challenge.
  18. After Wednesdays failure. I managed to get it done yesterday, I'm now engaged. Time to find out if wedding planning is going to be hell or not.
  19. Could just as easily go in the things that piss you off but shouldn't thread but continuing on with my proposal. Today was meant to be the day, but nothing's gone right. We're away as a family and this afternoon my gf's daughter was whining this afternoon so no opportunity to do it. Then late this afternoon my Mrs started feeling ill. So really pissed off, as these couple of days were booked with proposing in mind. She's been in bed since 8 and once the kids were in bed I've just sat here on my own drinking beer I needed to chill out. Absolute disaster! Probably didn't hide my disappointment too well either, so ended up looking like I was pissed off at her being ill, which I am but know it's not her fault. What makes it worse is she is going to feel bad when she realises it was today I was going to propose.
  20. Well, decided to go with it and nipped out to check the cars tyre pressure and go ask her Dad. It made no odds to me and I'm sure her Dad wouldn't have minded either way but she wanted me to and that's all that matters to me. No turning back now.
  21. The whole proposal/marriage thing from start to finish is outdated and bizarre to the modern world though really isn't i? I don't have a problem following it, if it makes people happy because that's how they feel things should be done.
  22. My mate went to his girlfriends Dad to do the traditional thing and him if he could marry her. His response was you can F**k off if you if you think I'm giving any money towards it, lovely guy! Anyway this is all pretty relevant to me as a few months a go I mentioned I'd bought a ring. As long as I find the right moment We're going away for a couple of days tomorrow and planning on doing it if I think the moment is right. The only thing holding me back is I know my Mrs wants me to do the same and I've not got round to doing it yet, so I've either got to find an excuse to go out and just turn up at their doorstep, ask her any way or wait.
  23. I've not seen that, but have seen on the wall of Spice Island that it used to have a brothel upstairs.
  24. Yeah will do, they needed to see all my documents and certificates etc today, so now that's done I'll get an offer in writing and I'll work from there. I'm used to salary brackets (which I'm sure you are working for NHS), but this wasn't advertised as a bracket and it's also a pretty big jump from bottom to top.
