  1. They're not robots and they're not playing robots either. You can class yourself as having high standards if you want but to expect a fellow promotion rival, at home not give a bit of push back is naive at the least.
  2. Maybe it's the beer clouding my judgement but I think people are being a bit harsh on Steer. Looked like a cross was coming in and the sliced it and fluked one. I'll watch it back at half time but you can't cut down the angles for everything.
  3. He is top quality. He'll end up in the top flight, playing in Europe, hopefully with us!
  4. I know it sounds silly but have you paired your phone Bluetooth to the sound bar Bluetooth? If you've used your phone's Bluetooth with another device you may have to re-pair.
  5. You're like a BBC HYS poster. Absolute cringe whether you're serious or a wind up. Sad either way.
  6. It reminds me of when I was a kid on the weekend and my Mum used to ask me multiple times if my homework was done and sorted and I'd say yes. Then at 10pm on a Sunday night I'd be rushing it because I hadn't actually done it. The result was more red crosses than I should have got because I brushed stuff I knew off instead of continuing to work at it when I was already aware of what I needed to do. Actions speak louder than words.
  7. I love how people think they're doing him a favour by maybe giving him a summer window. How generous of you. Absolutely pathetic. Modern football fan mentality that generally gets clubs nowhere. He's not beyond criticism but I'm sick to the back teeth of this throwaway, chop and change way that doesn't allow for any sort of roots or long term plan to bear fruit.
  8. Welcome aboard Neeson, a true Wolf-puncher.
  9. I like how many people who believe he did it just class it as a fact, despite it being an opinion. Only he will know.
  10. Plenty of good players get relegated. Especially if a decent amount of their other signings are crap.
  11. Fer is damn good, surprised he didn't get a move back to the Prem when Swansea went down.
  12. Congratulations! I'm really happy for you both. Being Welsh myself, you made a great choice in coming here for a nice week. Well done on the engagement too.

    K-Mac

I don't understand how he was put back in charge of the U23's after already being found guilty in another investigation by the Premier League.
  14. It's really difficult not to be a cheap swine and have a pop at Bruce. BUT. He gave it his all and was way too short on a huge budget without any sort of plan. Four or five weeks in with Smith and it's a million miles away from the usual. Loving it. More to come.

    John Terry

I think Laurent Koscielny asks for it too.

Now I get why the Chelsea fans love him when I used to think he was an absolute c-bomb. He's done some c-bombish things in the past but he seems more humble than ever now to me. I'm also amazed how he's pretty much had the same haircut for about 20 years and it's never been in fashion or looked smart. I genuinely wonder what he asks for at the barbers, same with Manuel Pellegrini, that's some hair right there.
  17. If anybody listens to the Owain Tudor Jones podcast called The Long man's Football World Podcast then there's a 2 episode one with Taylor which has a good insight into him and an explanation for the tired eyes. He also had the snip in the summer and has 4 kids. He's got his head screwed on. Well worth a listen. More relaxed and open than the usual 5 minute interview they are forced to do.
  18. Thankfully, it's only hippo who sees any sort of issue in a common sense sub. The stance is a bit baffling. Trying to make a hippo's arse out of an ant's backside 'talking point'. He was knackered, we weren't reliant on another goal, it was in the 83rd minute. There's no issue or problem. Good players can get subbed if they are not up to scratch. Bizzare comments.
  19. I understand where you are coming from, but it's not just paying money to help another club nurse their player. Once he's up to real match fitness then we have a player who is a class above this level and could be a big difference in helping us go up. That investment in him could look miniscule, in comparison to the financial benefits of promotion. It is a gamble expecting him to be the beast he was but so far, he's played 127 mins and scored 2, that's better than a goal a game ratio. He got us a point against PNE which could end up being valuable come the end of the season and he cemented the 3 points against Rotherham with his goal. I think he'll start tomorrow for some much needed game time and then maybe off the bench again Friday before we see him start to feature more prominently. We're doing Everton somewhat of a favour but we're also doing ourselves a favour if he comes through.
  20. What's the correct term for people wanting to express old-school and real-deal, literally? It won't be long until u, wat, cuz, m8 are in the dictionary ?
  21. If he was literally everywhere, then the heat map wouldn't have dark parts. I hate the improper use of the term, literally. Still really impressive from McGinn though. Good lad.
