    Oh I agree, but even so, if any clubs have abided by the rules then surely they are right to complain about others that haven't.

    But if Everton have cheated their way to survival by ignoring the rules while the other two obeyed the rules, then they have a valid point surely? Admittedly it all just goes to show what a sham FFP was anyway, and clubs like us that almost bankrupted themselves over it would have been much better off just ignoring the rules entirely.

    He seemed to have his arm up to protect against the high foot to me. Even if the ball did hit his arm I don't think it would be fair to give as a penalty.

    This is such a statement signing that on The Guardian football page there is a tiny link hidden away below the obviously much more significant story of Ten Hag possibly considering a move for a player maybe in the future. At least the BBC have given it reasonable prominence.

    Brilliant news. If he'd have gone to a Spurs or Newcastle I'd have been quite annoyed about it. I think he's a great player, a good statement signing and and an all-round nice guy. Now let's build a team that can get the best out of him and Buendia.
