  1. It's a still from Terminator 2. A second later the human race is annihilated by nuclear warfare. Except it's actually a dream. But it will happen. Or might happen anyway. It depends.
  2. Yeah, but did he miss the ball totally and slam into the post in a comedy fashion?
  3. Gary McAllister at the Leeds game, prompting the commentators to talk about Villa and how we're going places. Bet the Leeds fans watching loved that!
  4. I don't see the two as comparable at all. Saka basically got in the way of Mings after the fact, he was nowhere near the ball. In this case Konsa was unavoidably clattered by Jota who couldn't possibly get that ball without performing a flying kick into him. But even if we are to charitably say they are equivalent, then either Mings shouldn't have conceded a free kick and been booked OR this goal shouldn't have stood. Either way Villa have been on the receiving end of inconsistent and unfair decisions.
  5. A Leeds player and a Chelsea player having a clandestine conversation hiding their mouths from the camera. Hmmmm....
  6. I get what you're saying but... Kinda was there and leaping for the ball like that meant an inevitable clattering. My screenshot is below. His foot goes right into Konsa's shorts whilst he is midair.
  7. I mean yeah, but, Luiz shouldn't have picked the ball up if the ref hadn't blown. I hate when players do that.
  8. These guys make me laugh And this one has a cool dance
  9. The Mings incident was nowhere near as bad as this, and it wasn't even a foul. He got the ball in open space and then Saka got in his way afterwards. Here, Jota flew directly towards two players with his studs up and no way to avoid them both. But however you look at it, it just goes to show how totally inconsistent it all is.
  10. Ok, he got a touch on the ball, but surely flying through the air studs first at two players falls under the umbrella of "reckless"
  11. We're looking good here. Traore has made a bit of a difference.
  12. Liz Truss is talking about scrapping the NI protocol and allowing free movement of goods from/to GB. But how can that work? Surely that would result in an immediate hard border with the. South of Ireland? And instigate some kind of trade war with the EU? This sounds exactly like the sort of thing we really need right now in this economic climate Edit: feels like we are forever going round in endless circles on this particular unsolvable aspect of Brexit
  13. Yeah, I think she only missed two before when she was pregnant?
  14. I read the opinion of one barrister who felt that, contrary to the Mail's opinion, the fact there was a meal planned in as part of the working day actually enhances the claim that it was part of the working day. The Mail seem to think it proves the opposite for some reason. I am of the opinion that the fact it was planned as part of the day means it wasn't a "party" and means that there should be no fine. The only caveat to that is if they took it too far and it became a massive booze-up.
