  1. I wish I could say this surprises me, but... God I can't believe people actually voted for this lunatic
  2. Oh, and Ozzy's new single? It's another little gem. Very Ozzy and very silly and very fun. His voice does sound a tad... odd in places. I suspect there has been a fair amount of fixing. Enjoyable though.
  3. It's as you'd expect - immaculately produced, mind-blowing musicianship, clever time signatures and some catchy bits here and there. Probably a grower but it's not obviously anything new or different from them on first listen which is a shame. The Coheed and Cambria album is a barnstormer though right from the outset. Although I wish they'd lay off the autotune a bit...
  4. Too much new music today... Ozzy, Lonely Robot, Porcupine Tree, Coheed and Cambria... So much stuff.
  5. I don't disagree with just the lion and the name actually. I think it looks fantastic. Doesn't need a circle or a shield round it.
  6. That provides great colour contrast. Easy to see at a glance and at a distance.
  7. Yyyeeesssssss! No more light yellow on light blue please!
  8. But Luke was always struggling with the dark side and was always reckless, that was his character? That was the whole point of ROTJ. The idea that he came close to giving in and killing his evil nephew but at the last moment couldn't do it is totally in keeping with his character surely?
  9. The greatest tweet of all time?
  10. Was listening to their last album the other day. Was like a Cure album but far more doomy and simultaneously more punky. Very unusual sound they have, and it works well once you've adjusted to it. This track seems pretty good on first listen - mad, but good.
  11. I'd like to see the recommendations of a board consisting of a nurse, a P&O employee, a care worker and a teacher
  12. Urgh, I really don't like Andy Burnham. He always comes across as loud and self important to me. And if he got into power the Midlands would probably be totally screwed over given his Manchester-ness, and the last thing the country needs is more Manchester-ness.
  13. Very nice! The Black Beauty is one of Ludwig's most highly regarded models. It's a stunning snare drum.
  14. He'd be my choice. I think he'd be absolutely perfect actually.
  15. I don't see how we can replace him now. A new manager won't be in place until after the Nations League and then are the next international games the world cup itself? Or are there some other international games lined up in the autumn?
  16. On now, Hainbach livestreaming the premier of his new album. In typical Hainbach fashion, he is doing it from a beach using cassette player, which of course chewed up his first tape
  17. Looks like we still live in a country (just) where you can't lie and buy your way out of absolutely anything. I don't think we're too far away from that in some ways, but this ruling shows that we haven't tipped past that point just yet.
