also, I'm very disappointed we let Martinez continue on when it was clear he was going to need to come off. Concussions / head injuries are not to scoff at

Pino is a very interesting shout. Will almost be certain that we are going to sign another winger -- probably one who is more right sided, but who knows. It looks extremely unbalanced that we have one senior winger in the squad at the minute, thanks Stevie.

Hope that he gets some minutes on Saturday. Would prefer him to get some over McGinn just to see if there's anything there to contribute

I like him playing wide right as a forward. Feel like that's where he has the ability to cause a lot of damage to defenses

Excited to see what this guy can bring to the table given more minutes and a role that suits him more.

very intrigued to see where he plays a role for us. If Unai brings the 4-2-3-1, does he play BK & LD, or rotate them with Dougie? Or would we even see BK drop back and play at CB?

Still thrilled by this appointment, and shocked that we were even able to attract him. On the media / language note, I'm really happy that we're the club bringing him to show what a great coach he is. I've seen a lot of places saying that he feels like he has unfinished business in the PL and giving him the platform to perform is great.

wouldn't be too upset if we moved him on in the summer. I don't think a Carlos / Konsa partnership will work. Also, would probably fetch a higher amount than Mings. Still concerned about him if Emery wants to play out from the back / cbs that are comfortable with the ball in posession

It doesn't matter if the ball is played backwards (if you are ahead of the ball when it is played) -- as that is considered offsides. and the deflection was considered to be incidental from the VAR i assume

re-signing messi just adds to their problems of having too many "top class" forwards in the squad who go through the squad rotation. I'm sure that Raphinha, Fernan Torres, Lewandowski,. Dembele, Ansu Fati, Depay would love to have Messi just so there's a 7th forward option for the squad. That's something I would do on FM

even though he's behind Emerson, part of his body is still ahead of the ball, which is therefore offside (if I understand the rule correctly).

i think they're almost nailed on for relegation unless they can spend a fortune on someone who can score goals. They literally have no goal scorers in their squad
