Took a drive to Lutterworth this afternoon to pick the missus up from her mate's house. I must've passed 10 petrol stations on the A5 and not one of them had queues, either on the way there or back. I hope the selfish words removed have realised that their behaviour has been stupid and not needed. Caught it last night and even Erdo Pete wasn't entertaining mate. He knew the formation slo mo should be picking though mate. Said they should give it a gooo vs forest mate. Also, Chong is being played wrong mate. He did his usual "dunno what that last blose fan wuz on about mate" but apart from that it was a dull show. Only 1 villa fan managed to get on. I took a czech work colleague to Southampton to see his team sparta prague in the europa league about 3 years ago. We were in the away end (of course) and they had a black centre half (Costa ?) who was having a nightmare game, like bambi on ice. Every time he touched the ball he was getting dogs abuse from the sparta fans. I was then told by a rather embarrassed sparta fan next to me that it's not because he is crap that he gets abuse, it's because he is black and he cops for it most games. I then looked around and noticed just how many skinheads were in the crowd, giving plenty of nazi salutes to the saints fans in that corner. It really was like going back in time. One teenage fan then started on an old boy for not joining in on the chant he had sung. He got so outraged he then bit the seat in front of me in pure anger after screaming at the old un. They lost 3-0, we were kept in for 30 mins after the game and on my way out a female steward said to me " so....you....enjoy...game...not good ?" To which I replied in my broadest brummie accent that it was as bad as watching the villa ! Her face was a picture !

Having a new tempur mattress arriving today, so had to bag up and bring the old one (also tempur) downstairs ready for collection. Stupid price for a mattress but as I had one before then I am used to it. Thing is, cos its pure memory foam it weighs a bloody ton. Took me ages to get it off the bed and then down the stairs. I'm now panting like a fat lad in a doughnut shop
