I see what you mean about end product, but surely that will come with game time. He's never regularly started for Villa, hopefully him showing some sort of promise in the past 2 games (even an assist against Ipswich) will get him in the squad for Saturday and he can maybe work on getting more out of his runs. But I would have to agree with most that his performance was probably better than anyone elses, who else created opportunities? At least he kept the ball well, I'd rather see him running through players than the shit hooftastic and giving possession away type of football that everyone else was attempting.

Why did Given play last night by the way? It was pretty much a full strength squad (injuries considered) except Guzan. I'm not saying that Brad could definitely have done better with any of the goals, I just don't rate Given at all anymore and think that sometimes he can't be arsed to even try.

Bannan, Bennett and Delph were all shit. Personally thought N'Zogbia played well (maybe that's just compared to his usual dross performances). If we have the same game back at VP we will finish most of those chances and end up winning. I'm not confident of us going to the final now but I think it will be an exciting game to watch. Don't think sacking Lambert will do us any good though.

I only do it when people rub it in to me, say if they score early and take the piss running around the pitch swinging their arms or something. When I get back in to the game and score I'll take the mick with the celebration but also watch the replays for as long as it will let me some people are such pricks on Fifa, it's great to give them some back!

A couple of questions on career mode, I've got quite a few youngsters coming through the Youth setup now and was wondering how I can persuade teams to take them on loan? I've promoted 3-4 up to the main squad and put them on the loan list and no one wants them so they are currently rotting away in my reserves gaining nothing. Any tips? Also, anyone noticed when simming games that red cards and injuries seem to have no affect on the game? For example I was playing Norwich or something, within 15 minutes they'd had a red card, then another 10 minutes go past and they get another red card (I know it's random but come on, when does that ever happen?) and I still only draw 1-1. I know in football you're never guaranteed to win a game even against 9 men but christ it would take some going to only draw that. It just seems so obviously unrealistic it's frustrating.

So Mancini unsuccessfully trying to deny there being an issue: Yeah maybe it isn't as bad as what the papers would like you to think but still you can't tell me that this sort of thing happens in training all the time.

It's the way the game is designed, IMO you can't blame players for playing to their strengths. Pace is what I automatically look for in players because if you don't you'll get ruined. For example in my old FUT squad I tried Pirlo and Sneijder in the middle and got destroyed most games, swapped them with lesser players with better pace and all of a sudden I start playing better where as in real life pace has much less of an importance in the game. If you can't beat them, join them or you'll be destroying pads left, right and centre.

Started watching Boardwalk Empire over xmas holiday and have to say I love it! Only 14 episodes in so far, so no spoilers!

Personally I couldn't predict any games this season. I think we are going to be so hot and cold for the remainder of the season, lose to poor teams and get a result where we wouldn't expect one. I've tried to be positive and have the 'surely we can't always play shit' mentality but I've lost all hope, I think we're going down with Southampton and Reading. I reckon Harry will pull his finger out and get them to perform just in time.

I just think that we shouldn't underestimate what Bradford can do in any way, shape or form. A potential banana skin that I would rather avoid. Especially first leg, if we can get a good lead to take in to the second leg then maybe try Carruthers or Graham etc.

No way should that happen, I understand the league should be priority due to our current shit form but we should be putting out as strong a team as possible for both legs of the Bradford game (don't really care about the FA Cup, we would probably be better off out of that at this point).

Is that a hunch or is that confirmed though? Obviously he isn't going to solve all of our issues but he will help massively.

Whilst I am really pleased with the draw, I hope that people don't get too hyped up and presume that we will be in the final already. There are still 2 games of football to win and we shouldn't underestimate Bradford at all, they can still give us a kicking if we don't play at our best.

Yeah I saw that last night, there were only 3-4 of them I could see in trade though and they were all up for about 700k-1m coin mark which is ridiculous, obviously that price will slip but I reckon he'll be worth over 300k. I sold my Serie A squad and got Xavi in a free pack the other week so got 200k to spend, might spend it all on silver packs to try and get Benteke this week

I was lucky enough to go to the 96 final with my dad, was a brilliant experience and great to say I went to the old Wembley. I reckon we have a good chance at this depending on how tonight goes, would love Leeds in the final

I've missed two games this season and never even thought about using these, contrary to what the OP said (I know it was over a year ago now) I think what they gave for that game is quite good! I normally give my ticket to friends if I can't go but knowing that I'll get £15+ for a game now I won't be doing that again.

Further to this after going on a shark hunt last night I did notice the graphics were a bit strange in the water. Otherwise it's all good, looks pretty epic when jumping from a huge mountain on a hang glider.

I've not noticed any issues with it running on my xbox but then again I'm not exactly a perfectionist so I might not notice what others would. Definitely worth getting, it's the best game I own at the moment without a doubt.

Maybe I am taking the term 'life changing' too literally. £150k would be life changing for me, when you get to the millions of £'s saying it isn't a life changing sum is bewildering to me, how would it not change your life?

Out of interest, what would you consider life changing if £5m is not life changing? Personally an amount of money that would pay off my mortgage or higher is life changing to me. Not saying I would do the act in question for that sum of cash but if £5m doesn't change your life at all then you must already be living the high life (if that's the case, fair play. Can I have some free money?).
