I used to work with this guy's mum, so out of general interest I've followed his progress at Brighton and Norwich. He's definitely got potential to be a good player. People saying he's rubbish/average (probably without having seen him play other than the odd moment on Match of the day) though need to get a grip. I'd like to know what they are basing their opinions on.

Personally speaking this fixture list isn't great. I'll definitely miss three games and with Sky's inevitable fudging around of the fixtures I'll probably miss more. Great stuff. But for the team I think we're better off getting the hard fixtures out of the way first, so probably works in our favour. -
Not sure on the away kit but I've said this before and ended up buying one anyway so we'll see in a months time...

Hmmmn.... Benteke says he would like to play with other Belgians. Lukaku....Goes back to Chelsea after telling Benteke to move to a "Big" club Benteke appears to prefer London & comments he thought Villa was a London club. The "Special one" returns to Chelsea with a huge warchest presumably? Is it just me?................ Well if the "Special one" gives us £40m from his "huge warchest" then he can have both Belgians.

Gabby at Norwich has to be up there, so late in the game and the season. Without the extra points we would still have been firmly in the shite.

I would imagine that it won't happen again now that we aren't offering high wages. Maybe we'll have some non-performers but high earners, no.

I'd take Kone. The rest aren't good enough or aren't going to fit in our wage structure. Reckon we'll be looking abroad and in lower leagues again, which isn't a terrible thing as there are obviously some bargains to be had if you've got the eye for one (which PL appears to).

I was intending on watching this, but I've bottled it and decided to go and play football instead. Hopefully I can forget about it for an hour and a half as I've thought about nothing else since the game on Saturday and it's starting to piss me off now.

I stuck a tenner on us a week or so ago, hopefully it is wasted but its a good insurance policy. The only thing keeping me positive about tomorrow is the bookies are confident of Arse winning, how often are they wrong?

Thought Mason had a crap game, the Baker challenge was never a yellow, Terry should have had a second yellow for the arm across Weimann. But ultimately we can only blame ourselves for not making the most out of the 1 man advantage while we had it. Fingers crossed Arsenal seal our safety on Tuesday. Sylla was my MOTM, he's really surprised me recently. Was a great atmosphere at VP today, just a shame more of the fans don't come to every game.

Imagine how much Whelan is going to want for him. Buying from Wigan is going to be difficult while he's there. LB is the main concern for me, don't like to write off young players but I just don't see how Bennett is ever going to cut it.

O'Neill won't be interested, there's not enough cash for him to throw at average players. Martinez is the man I think, it's about time he takes on a different challenge and proves he's a quality manager.
