I'm buying it, the only thing is that it isn't available for download until 6pm and the file is likely to be 3-4GB so it could be Sunday by the time I actually get to play it unfortunately.

I went last night and also to the Lisbon game. I don't have high hopes for us in the Next Gen this year unfortunately. To me, the only standout performances were from Drennan and Carruthers who look promising. Everyone else was quite average on the night. Grealish was unusually quiet imo and seems determined to try and beat everyone on the pitch rather than find the simple pass. It's also quite obvious that more work needs to be done on the passing, the hollywood ball is tried far too often and simple passes are often misplaced. We were lucky to escape with the 3 points after the 2nd half pressure from Celtic last night.

I've used Shopto.net. They have a decent reputation for delivering early/on time. Think it was about £2 cheaper than everywhere else I looked. Only thing you don't get is the "Adidas All Star team" which I'm not interested in anyway.

Anyone else going to buy the EA Season Pass? 2000MS points and you get the game on the 22nd (free download from the dashboard), an extra 24 free FUT packs (extra if you've bought the ultimate edition) and some other guff. Think I'm going to buy it, mainly so I can play it all weekend next week

I don't play this too often, but when I do, pretty much every time there is yet another 1.5gb update waiting for me. It's got to the point where I've nearly filled my xbox HDD with updates just for this game (I only have the old 20GB HDD). What the hell is their problem? lol I feel sorry for anyone who bought the new 4GB console and wants to play this game.

Disappointing that there are no instances for lower levels, like I mentioned in my last post I used to play WoW and one of the things I loved about it was that you could start doing group things from a low level. I am really tempted to grab this, my neighbor has said that he'll get it if I get it too. So if we get it I'll try and get us on to the same server as some of the VT'ers for a bit of an instant community. Nothing worse than playing an MMO on your own!

Yeah that's one of the reasons I'm looking at it. I loved WoW and would probably still play it every now and again if it wasn't for the subscription fee. How come you can't get on? Dodgy servers?

I'm tempted to get this, just not sure if I'll have enough spare time to give it a good go. What's the overall opinion on this? Worth getting?

I only watched the trailer this morning, looks great! Unfortunately I don't have Premium and I also play on Xbox which means I won't be getting this DLC for another 3 weeks nearly according to this. Sucks to be me.

I've got the first version of the wireless adapter (G rated I think?), it's pretty shit if there is anything (walls, doors a ceiling etc) between the xbox and the router and obviously if there's quite a distance doesn't help. Other than direct Ethernet connection, Limpid's suggestion is the best and is probably cheaper than a Microsoft adapter. I managed to pick up 2 homeplugs (one needs to be connected to the router, the other to the device) for £35 off ebay. You can then just buy more homeplugs to add more devices. They're great.

Checked it out last night and to answer my own question, yes it is on the 360 iPlayer. Great program and very sad that this happens on a daily basis over there.

I love programs like this, will have to catch up on it. Does anyone know if the Xbox 360 BBC iPlayer has this on? It never seems to have all the content that the web version has.

You can yes and it's free to season ticket holders. Nah it's not, the Marseille game was a one off. It's £3 for ST holders per game or £7 for the 3 games.

Ohhh yes! He was ace I've tried ordering the 3 game pack online and it says I don't have sufficient privileges on my account to do it. Even though my ST is activated etc. We also get £2 off the pack with the voucher, so 3 games for £5 is not bad at all! Haha that Keeper from marseille. Biggest cheat ive seen however he was good goalie... You're kidding right? He has to be one of the worst keepers I've seen. It's as if their real keepers came down with food poisoning and they found this guy on the street. But yes, a very good deal and it was a good turn out for the Marseille game, hopefully there will be a similar crowd on Wednesday. Hahaa no i genuinly thought hes reflexes were good. Even better when he was using them to dive on the floor in pain every ten seconds But yeah the marseille game was probably the best game i seen down at VP last season was class. Maybe that was his only attribute that would fit a keepers job description, what sticks out in my memory is his hilarious goal kicks that he obviously hadn't got a clue where they were going to end up I haven't laughed like that at VP since the physio in the suit at the Inter Milan friendly.

I used to work with someone who now works at a company who make these, they are called OK Smokey. Never personally tried one of them but alot of people at work bought one of him and said they were pretty good. I'm tempted to give them a go, never know he might be able to do me a deal 8)

Anyone seen any decent pre-order deals for this? I'll be looking for the Ultimate Edition for all the free guff you get on Ultimate Team, although I'm fully expecting them to have completely ruined it with their greed.

I think we'll comfortably finish 12th. I don't think we'll do much in either of the cups, going to say we'll get knocked out before qtr finals in both competitions. Ordinarily this would sound negative but I think I'm being quite positive.

Pleasantly surprised by the ticket prices, looks like I can get some reasonable seats for €25 each.

Have to say the website is pretty gash, not being fluent in German you'd think if you click the "ENG" button at the top of the screen it would change everything to English. Apparently not, but hey-ho!

I know this is a longshot but does anyone know what ticket availability is like for Monchengladbach games? Me and my gf are planning a trip over Christmas with my parents and I was hoping me and my dad could catch the game against Mainz on 8th Dec as we used to live close by and always wanted to go to a game. Just wondering if I'd have to order tickets before hand or if we could just turn up on the day.

Aren't the Next Gen games free? Pretty sure me and my dad got a free ticket to the Marseille game last season.
