I suppose it's no different from Gabby last year costing 100k+ as a silver. All down to pace and a lot of people like to create dedicated bronze or silver squads. I used to do it when UT first started for a bit of fun but people have started taking it too seriously now so I can't justify spending that many coins on what are essentially shit cards! I've gone for a Bundesliga squad this year, bit limited on the striker front (Ramos and Okazaki up front with Kalou and Drmic as back ups) but they are pretty well stocked in most other positions.

I'm sure he'll do well there, I think Schalke have a good team but have been poorly managed recently. Watching the highlights last night, there was some criminal defending on show from them. On another note, Gladbach are doing well unlucky not to beat Mainz though.

From what I remember we used to pretty much sell out Europa League matches not so long ago so I don't see why not.

I'm enjoying it so far, even enjoying FUT which is the first time in a couple of years. I had a couple of issues with disconnections and lag on the first night but I expect nothing else from EA, especially so early on so I'll forgive them for that. I think the game plays fine. The new skill games are pretty cool too.

Didn't he still end up joint top scorer though, or was that a previous year? According to Wiki, Graham Burke was joint top scorer in 12-13. Think he did score a few in the early rounds though.

I saw him play in the Next Gen tournament a few times and actually thought he was one of the better players in the squad. Think he was out of most of the Next Gen tournament the year we won it with an injury though.

On the subject of rotating squads, I hate manually rotating them. In this years game you can save multiple team sheets and select a team sheet to save time. It's a ball ache changing the entire team for cup games and then back again for a league game.

Looks good for the price mate! If John Lewis mess you about with the delivery then you should definitely complain, could get yourself some free gift vouchers like I did Set mine up last night and I couldn't recommend it enough. I'm really impressed with it, although granted it probably doesn't take much to impress an AV simpleton like me.

Sorry only just saw your post mate, from the research I've done (mainly reading AVForums) it appears that it's the best TV for what I want it for (sports and gaming) due to the really low motion blur. As I wasn't arsed about 3D but did want a smart TV this was the obvious choice. What will you be using it for mainly and are you bothered about 3D, Smart etc?

The Sony TV is coming tomorrow, really excited! Also, as John Lewis managed to make a meal of delivery and I sent them a nice email complaining about it and they're sending me £40 in gift vouchers which I thought was quite cool.

They're in a difficult situation, not only have they got to replace pretty much all of their quality players but they've got to try and get the players for a reasonable price. Teams will know they've got tonnes of cash from Liverpool and Utd so will be bumping the prices up (which is exactly what we should be doing if they come looking at Ron or Delph). Would be really surprised if they don't struggle this year.
