I found 'The Wasp Factory' very overrated! Considering the praise it recieves not a lot seemed to happen and the ending failed to deliver its intended punch. If I had picked it up without hearing the hype I would have probably have liked it a lot more. I suppose thats the problem picking up books that seem to be universily liked, they have a lot to live up to, and its unfair to expect it.

I think there has been a slight over reaction by some on here after that game! We were unluky to drop those points today, playing some good stuff in that 2nd half particularly. My main gripe was for the individual error that saw Donovan (Who was fantastic today) run half the pitch under no pressure to set up the equaliser. Dont know whos man that was but he dropped a clanger. Apart from that we were the better team today! However the main over reaction is to the full backs. From where i sat the 2 had wildly contrasting games today. Warnock had a mare, pure and simple. However the man is clearly not only playing poorly, but is suffering from a complete lack of confidence. He really needs to be dropped to take him out of the limelight for a while and given a break. Hutton on the other hand played quite well today IMO! There was none of the screw ups in defense and he offered quite a lot going forward. He overhit a couple of crosses today, but at least he attempted them thus keeping the Everton rearguard guessing and not just waiting for the 5 yard pass that Cuellar would have offered. Im not saying he pulled up any trees today, but he was still one of our better players and definately does not deserve any abuse based on this game.

If I was only ever going to watch one programme again it would be something with more than one series, however criminal. Id choose Wallace and Grommit!

Liverpool have probably seen us for the mugs we are! Not only are they reportedly interested in stealing Bent but they want us to nursemaid their young striker as well....probably for a fee for the privilege too. This downright cheek would be hilarious if it happened to anyone but us! Whats even more hilarious is that i can actually see it happening!

That there is a good point! I live about 2 minutes from b'ham airport so am slightly bias too.

A lot of the travel agents do cheap package deals to Paris. For me flights are the best way even if you have to spend a few quid more. Id rather the extra day there than on a train.

I think he has earned himself more time! His only real mistake was hiring the current manager.
