The one thing I remember about Shearer was if his team scored a goal it was a surprise if it was scored by anyone else!

How i remember it was we scored on the break , then they dominated! If anyone deserved to win that game it wasn't us!

Its funny how Vieri (An inferior Shearer by most regards) managed to do alright in Italy playing the same way. Quality players are quality players, its just a matter of adapting slightly.

Seems the consensus of the Sunderland fans on the sky site are happy they are not getting Davis, instead wanting a top class striker....I wouldn't hold your breath! I could actually see a move for Emile here!

I was thinking about 38 Studios. Worth a punt? Always risky putting your money into a company you dont know much about! Game developers also have the added pressure of being one game away from disaster. On the other hand if they get it right.... As Julie says...High risk!
